Very nice my friend, birdroom and cages are very clean i can see your dedication, question: at the beginning are they "german crested" or "ciuffato tedesco" in italian? in Holland and Belgium you breeders are very good with the pigmentation of red factor canaries so i was trying to "steal" something...i've seen you are using "Bogena" red intensifier. Greetings from Sicily! Enjoy your hobby
Hi my friend, yes i use a light dimmer with the LED lights. At night time the LED light are still on but at 5% of the normal day time light. Greetings from Holland.
Love your bird room and birds! I have a question...where do I find LEDs similar to the ones that you use? Are they part of the cage or brought separate? Great job and all the best!
thats great! maybe in the future you'll consider breeding Parrots, I think is challenging but more rewarding & I have confidence that you'll be a great Parrot breeder wish you all the best ;)
Hi I've noticed you use in each cage (LED) ... I mean if you breed them shouldn't you use a (light dimmer) in this case the light will slowly fade into dark so the female will go to nest and not miss it when you switch the LED suddenly. Cheers
Hi First of all awesome videos went through all of them. I also wanted to know what's the best way to tell male and female canaries apart? My sister just got a little yellow one that seems to be very young but we can't tell if it's male or female. Cheers from Canada/Sweden
Can u give info about light must be white light led can be yellow ? And what about canary eyes di they go blind and is it necessary to put the light on each cage and on top ??
Hello! I love the way you organize your cages...and i love your canaries too... But I have a question please.. I bought 4 canaries 2 males and 2 females. One grey-white male , one orange male, one white-grey female, and one brown-yellow female. I introduced each two couples for one week then i put them together they started kissing and there was no fights but i noticed that they didn't start building the nests. One couple is just taking off the threads and throwing it in to the base of the cage what does that mean ? And what should i do ? Another strange thing is that the grey white-canary is singing while with the female in the same cage. The other couple didn't do anything with the threads and the male canary is not singing... Please reply :) thanks for sharing your experience
I see this video is a few years old so not sure anyone will see my message but I will try anyway. I live in New York in the US and would like to buy a pair of German Crested birds but can't find them. At least not online. I wonder if this breeder from Holland who has special birds would send a pair here or recommend someone I could get in touch with in the states. Thank you!
