Collecting those secret tokens was such a hassle, I remember getting 60 out of 75 comic tokens like a breeze. Meanwhile my secret tokens were 11 out of 100 by the time I finished the game. you need to snoop around hard for those suckers.
Me too. I really felt like it was as good as Arkham. Speaking of I made a Batman episode too! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-I7kSlB5eTtA.html
Unpopular opinion here, but I really disliked Ultimate Spider-Man mainly because of the Venom gameplay. I hated how he played, and I hated being forced to play as him throughout the story.
I knew Prototype had some Spider-Man eliments in it, I've always thought the first game felt a little too much like what could have originally been a cancelled Venom game cause Alix Murcer looks & plays like Edie Brock should have been if we ever had to change to play as him in a Spider-Man game or spin-off!
Good call on that! Could have been Venom gameplay. Checkout the Canceled Batman Episode too! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-I7kSlB5eTtA.html
I think back when Amazing Spiderman 3 was still being planned, Benox could have made a movie based game. So we can say that this game is also canceled, and I think that the game would have turned out better than previous. After all, Benox would have been much more budget and time
I tried to look for anything on it but couldn't find anything. I did make a canceled Batman episode though! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-I7kSlB5eTtA.html
I feel like I saw footage of it once but I could not find it when I looked. Also just put up a Canceled Batman Episode ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-I7kSlB5eTtA.html
I can't even believe they canceled that Ultimate Spider-Man sequel. That was the only thing that made me more upset than Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions and Edge of Time not getting remasters.
Yeah it really could have been great. Soon we'll do an episode on Ultimate Spider-Man development. Already did one on Marvel's Spider-Man too ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-sy9ijHPJV8I.html
3:38 Let me tell you something, there's this game called Spiderman 3 that is solely exclusive to the PS2 (not to be mistaken with the Xbox version), and if this deal had gone through I might've had the chance to play it again with better graphics. goddamn Disney.
the only game i wished was released would be the Web of Shadows sequel like man I played WOS a dozen time and the combat/swinging to this day never got boring to me
back in 2004 (2006?) my buddies vanarts instructor said they were being considered to helping out on a Spider-Man and Hulk game. lawyers came to their class and had the selected few sign NDA's and creative licensing contracts. they weren't going to be a part of the dev team but they would've worked on any outsourced material. the studio must have been in Vancouver BC. but the game fell through before or during pre-production
Sony never owned the game rights to Spider-Man. They owned the movie rights, but not the game rights. The game rights are owned by Marvel, and the Spider-Man games that Insomniac made are licensed by Marvel.
Truth. I was speculating on some rumors. Basically that Marvel may have used that Spider-Man license as a bargaining chip with Sony. As Spider-Man was omitted from Avengers on XBox.
Yeah.. if it did happen it must have been a for a limited time. Batman though! I made an episode on canceled batman games ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-I7kSlB5eTtA.html Check it out!
@@GameFactsSpecial A channel called "Game Facts" should not include baseless conjecture. It is well known that Sony paid Square Enix for Spider-Man exclusivity; it was widely reported when the game released. They could just have easily paid for Moon Knight or Devil Dinosaur.
I do wish they could go back and made ultimate Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man classic Even though the graphics now will be hard to add to the ps5 and Xbox series x with the graphics
NeverSoft's Spider-Man 3: Terror of Goblin should've been made in 2002 instead of one based on the first film, it made the Raimi-verse seem like Spider-Man can swing on clouds and has a weakness for pavements.
If only there was a way to port mobile games like Spider-Man Unlimited onto consoles and tweak the time limited events and make them chapters like a level select keeping the saved data intact.
@3:52 "Instead, every indication is that Marvel traded Sony the Spider-Man game rights in exchange for Spider-Man staying in the MCU" Not only is this statement blatantly false, there is literally no evidence to support the claim. Sony only owns the rights to solo films for certain Spider-Man characters - nothing else. Disney is the sole owner of the Spider-Man videogame license. This was all confirmed by Insomniac.
@@GameFactsSpecial That video says that Insomniac chose to make a Spider-Man game, which is correct. This video says that Marvel "traded Sony the game rights in exchange for Spider-Man staying in the MCU", which is incorrect. Marvel currently owns the Spider-Man game rights and allowed Sony/Insomniac to make a Spider-Man game. They have even allowed Nintendo and numerous mobile game devs to use Spider-Man in recent years.
Spider-Man was pretty fun to play in the marvel Vs Capcom series especially if you have a strong muscle memory to do non stop infinite combos modern Disney and Modern Capcom just ruined the franchise especially infinite for not teaming up properly.
