Cancer City - Soundtrack (2023) 

I still can't believe tracks like this play in an educational channel, Kurzgesagt is just something else

At this point I care more about the soundtrack of the video than whatever kurzgesagt's doing, but can you blame me? This sounds great!

Can we talk about just how well this track worked to hammer home the freaky alien vibe of the video? Like, the whole idea of the metaphor was to put cancer into perspective by taking our human ideas of normalcy and turning it into something that's not entirely implausible at first but quickly ramps up into full horror- and this track's almost discordant synth leads, the chilling bell chimes, as well as the backing beat's constant rhythmic pumping that almost sounds like a marching army make the entire thing so much more uneasy and I LOVE IT. i seriously can't get over just how much this song carried the video's entire vibe

*To arms!* The T-cells yelled. The body's capillaries enlarged and its pupils dilated as its defenders prepared for the fight to end all fights. The cell walls came crashing down, membrane fluid was spilt, a large quaking was felt as Cancer stomped in. The battle had begun. cue *Epic MM Theme* 🎶

While I appreciate the music that has been coming out lately, I feel a sense of departure from your older, quieter style of music. I wish for a more melodically complex (not sure if this made sense) and/or a softer style (Time, loneliness, the egg, coronavirus, with the most recent being friends) with less background synths and strings. Of course, this is just my opinion and perhaps the change in the scale of content is also partly the cause too.
