I’m a Cancer Moon and I have been going through a divorce. I have burned my whole world to the ground (because I’m also an Aries Sun) and I am dancing freely on the ashes. That was not my most authentic life. The one I am creating now IS.

30+ years ago I had a dream. I was an old woman, climbing into bed. I knew I would not wake up the next morning and I snuggled in to think back on all the wonderful experiences I had enjoyed in my life. I was happy. Smiling. And then I woke up with a feeling of determination to make sure I built a life full of wonderful experiences to look back on. Fast forward to the now. Sort of. Just a few years ago, after a challenging marriage, wonderful parenting experiences, wonderful career experiences, I was retired and sitting in front of the TV enjoying one of my favorite hobbies, counted cross stitch. The perfect semi-meditation to relieve stress. Brain science shows the up-and-down motion of needle through fabric (embroidery, quilting) has the same impact on the brain as purposeful meditation. I was content. So I was shocked when the thought slammed into my head: "I'm just killing time until I die." It was one of many towers - large and small - I've had in this life so far, but one of the most meaningful. The few years since then have moved me into other experiences. I can't say I chose them. I know now, after these years of open-hearted learning, that I was brought here, and continue to be led forward by assisting forces. This reading resonated on all levels. Towers are now, for me, opportunities to pause, check my perspective, make adjustments and renew my resolve. It was all there. Thank you, Christina. Have been following your vacation on FB. Tower? I walked away from a mother who didn't/doesn't really love me. I'm just a bad habit in her life. Our core values are only ideas. So, I don't speak to her as every conversation is a failure to communicate. I'm a professional communicator who has/does work all over the world. Home sweet home, wasn't so sweet always only about social climbing, prestige, and material comfort. Creativity, my life blood, was an always and only inconvenient, amusing, source of second hand recognition for her ego. Bragging rights -- 'my daughter' -- blah, blah, blah.

Good for you. You know what I learned from my similar experience. Its not that she doesn't love you. It's that she can't connect with her own kids because she cannot even connect to herself. My dad's just like that. But I realise that our parants are also a part of this matrix. They have also been abused by their parants that is why they can't connect. They have been traumatising us for thousands of years in order to create dysfunctional family's. Diffference here is that we woke up. So the trauma (should) stop with us. 🙏
