They learned and believed the Daco-Roman Continuity that says Dacians where the indigenous ppl in Transylvania before Hungarians came to Europe and these indigenous ppl where mixed with the Romans when those occupied them.And they believe Dacians their descendants (also ppl from Wallachia and Moldavia) Austro-Hungarian historian and explorer and other international professors said there are evidences Romanians not related at all to Dacians bc their ancestors came up from somewhere from Illyria as a group of shepherd people and settled after Romans genocided Dacians. Also there are always problems with the Hungarians on those attached parts in Slovakia, Romania, Ukraine even nowadays. There are lot of ppl there who would like to genocide those Hungarians but laws don't let them. So their governments try to take away as much minority rights as they can to force them with passive-aggressive way to move to Hungary so then they can repopulate those incase we can't say that was ours once. That's also a problem Hungarians like to be stubborn and complain a lot most of them don't want to assimilate even a bit neither try to isolate themselves from those ppl and likes to use the nationalism as an excuse against learning that language. But language needs for communication that's essential for acceptance (I spoke with Serbian and Romanian living Hungarians who had better relations with the "natives" bc they speak those languages too so those didn't treat them like aliens) and it would be beneficial too for everyday life. Also all of them don't like Hungarian goverment spend money to invest and renovate those parts.(we all know it's not humanitarian thing just to buy votes for cheating) They think that means Hungarians have a secret plan to get those parts back especially now all these neighbors keep an eye on Hungary bc they think Orbán has a secret agreement with Putin to get these parts back. This 10 years old really don't help with the bullying.. Hungarian childrens saying (falsely) Romania never existed that's Hungary too (Wallachia and Moldavia never were part of Hungary atleast not all and just bc it wasn't a united and called Romania they were existed on different names), they call Romania Disneyland like a non-existing country, calling them gypsies and hairy-footed. They call us Mongols and Bozgors, stealers. So let's be real there are lot of jealousy and historical hate too(they won't admit the first one) , they don't like Hungary had more prominent past and it was a powerful empire with Austria even if hungarians were "immigrants" in Europe we came and got what we wanted also settled a country (that Slovaks can't do before) and assimilated fast to European culture, Christianity and improved faster than them. they are mad bc Huns or God knows who the fuck was our real ancestors came from somewhere the Ural and toss,slaughtered or who knows what they did with these mostly unorganized Balkan and slav groups to settle a place here, they say we killed and forced them to blend in (mostly Slovakians say it) Also we got our freedom earlier under communism so we had a chance to westernalise earlier. But nowadays this mf government ruin our advantage, Romanian and Slovakian wages growth higher. They started to overtook us and over developing us so Hungarians won't admit either but those who realized it they started to be secretly jealous too that's why they like to talk about GDP and GDP per capita bc they are maybe higher here.. But everybody knows only Bulgaria is poorer now in the Union. Also Hungarians feel triggered when these countries flexing with those Hungarian historical buildings and nature views that was ours. And Hungarians likes to remember the world Romania was untrustworthy 2x in the WW they changed sides when they felt they won't win. Maybe there are some mad idiots who really think these parts will come back to Hungary but most of them know it won't happen and they feel satisfied if they can atleast mock Romanians and Slovakians. And we are not the same Hungarians who came to Europe, I am sure nobody can't find a single Hungarian who don't have atleast 1 slav and/or balkan in their family tree. I even live in that area where there are Romanian and Slovakian rooted cities and ppl (bc when the ottomans and tatars, Mongols (our "Brothers" as lot of Hungarians like to call them) came and killed lot of Hungarians these parts were literally empty so the king has to invite other nationalities (germans, slavs, Balkans..) to repopulate it) Non of these countries don't realize we should stop the historical hysteria bc background society don't want this region to unite and being independent from east and west..
