Thanks for the review, looking at going with my finance in a couple months. Admittedly like everyone else I was thrown off by the minibar points seeming so low but I can see the concept working.
It honestly was more than enough! Also, the points are different based on the room you get and the amount of time you stay there. We were only there for 3 nights, so that's why we got the 12000 points.
@@curlswithcourt The only time you can really smell anything is when you're on the beach near the ocean. Throughout the resort, you don't smell anything 😊
I'm considering going here with family. My nephew is a picky eater. Were there any kid friendly options? Such as... cheese pizza? Also, was it general requests that were slow when requested on the app? Or was room service also slow?
Unfortunately, we don't recall seeing plain cheese pizza on the menu, but I'm sure that's something they can easily make. Everything was slow when requesting on the app. It was quicker to just find a worker and ask them for help.
The points are only to customize your mini bar in the room! We actually didn't use up all our points cause we mostly just ordered drinks and food from the bar or restaurants 😊 And yes, we definitely enjoyed our time there! Hope you have fun and make sure to get the risotto from Frank and Lola's! 😉
so for your whole stay you only get 12000 pts? That based on those prices is equal to getting about 20 things for the entire trip? Doesn't seem like a lot
These points are just to fill up your mini bar in the room! While we are by the pool or doing activities around the resort, we just order drinks from the bar. It was actually more than enough points! We ended up having a lot left over on the last day and used it to get snacks for the plane ride home 😊
@@emuela68 to be honest in my opinion they are way better places out there. I mean the people and the property was nice but the food and drinks was not good at all. If you like sitting at a pool all day this resort is for you because the beach had tons of seaweed in it. The only thing that goes on at night is a band.

@@louise9830 It was like 2 hours. Don't really recommend doing it! Haha. You are not obligated to purchase, but they are very pushy so you feel quite drained afterwards. Lol.
It's with points! If you run out of points, then you can pay in pesos. But we actually had more than enough points! We ended up using most of it our last morning there to get snacks for the plane ride home. Lol.
