@Four awesome Dancing chicks I think Jeremy’s got a normal healthy crush on Candice, while she has her insane obsession over him. But I guess as long as it gives her something to take her mind off of trying to get evidence of her brothers hijinks.
I can't believe I forgot how much Candace was a massive creep. Granted, she is one of the rare times when a character actually hooks up with their crush.

At least she gets better in the 2nd half of the season. Having Stacy to bounce off of and doing nice by her parents (mom's birthday, helping the boys in getting Love Handel back together, her in their dad in the monster truck) rounded out her character and showed she can take a break from busting.
People be stalking on social media instead of in real life. People definitely fantasize about their crushes just like Candace. Some people also pray or do voodoo to get their crushes and it's similar to Candace 's shrine. Don't people also beat up others for getting with their man? She's very relatable.

My personal opinion is that especially very early on in the show is that her crush is over exaggerated for comedic effect, don’t get me wrong it is still a very abnormally strong crush, but later on in the show they actually become a very healthy and wonderful couple. Jeremy also does really like Candace, in general and also such as keeping the pencil she gave to him in grade school. I wish people gave more credit to how later on their relationship is really great, but of course it is fun to see moments like these haha 😊
