I grew up watching both shows and loved them both. So proud of you both becoming Christians. When I was first saved, I remember having such a burden for the lost in Hollywood. It's such a blessing to watch you both live your faith out . The Lord bless you and keep you both❤
Me too. My daughter and I loved watching Hallmark during Christmas season when she was on there. But I can't stand watching all the wokeness on that channel now!

I have not had the chance to hear the Truth in your Christian Walk before and really enjoyed hearing what you said. Both of the Shows you were in as kids were my favorite Shows. I was watching one Growing Pains episode where your mischievous side was especially special...lol and The LORD gave me the idea to begin praying for you. I asked HIM to show you HIS FAVOR and to bring a Godly wife to you at the right time. I asked HIM to put you in front of large groups of people to share The Gospel if it were HIS WILL. I've been praying for you ever since! I had the privilege of meeting you at Mcgregor Baptist Church in Fort Myers, FL shortly after you joined Way of The Master. I also had the opportunity to meet your Mom. She is so Gracious! Your Father was not on that trip so I did not meet him. As you were growing up on TV, HE kept my attention on you and your Family. You two were talking about The Community in The Church and what it's supposed to look like. So many even, committed followers of JESUS, are so wrapped up in their problems in life, they do not know how to reach out, pray, witness or be the HANDS AND FEET OF JESUS! My Parents were Missionaries in Germany for 5 years and then another 10 years after we came back to the States. My Father taught me 'street preaching' so I looked forward to being involved even after HE led me to Florida. I have experienced our AMAZING SAVIOR'S ANSWERS to prayer, like Candace was talking about, many times. We don't always get the privilege of seeing the fruit of our Labor for HIS GLORY, but hearing you two today, gave that to me, which encouraged me so much. I tend to get discouraged because I have many issues with my health. I am in great physical pain most days and I struggle with how I got this way. My Family refused to get me the help I needed as a child and when parents do that, the issues grow with your growing child. I don't mean, not going to see a doctor over the sniffles. I mean constant infections, daily nosebleeds, broken bones, collapsed lungs, seizures, etc and being told to just get over it, my issue is not a big deal! I lost my best girl friend from 1st grade to a car crash 4 days after she and I turned 18. I had just arrived at College, so I was told I would have to stay and was not allowed to come to the Funeral. It was 5 years before I saw where she was laid to rest and once again, my Parents made their plans clear. They went to the Funeral which was only a 4 hour drive but refused to pick me up. They expressed fear that I would not return to school. Not only did I not go back, I had made plans to join her in Heaven because I did not care about my Parents any longer. I spent most of that year crying and severely depressed but GOD had HIS OWN plans for me! If my Faith were not growing stronger at that time, I would not have been able to write this! I love GOD'S WORD, HEB 11:6 Hebrews 11:6 KJV - But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. AMEN!!!

What a blessing it must be for siblings to be able to have a conversation like this. I pray that one day I will be able to sit down and have a God centered conversation with my sister. By the Growing pains was slightly better than Full house but they are both great shows.

I love to see this brother - sister relationship on this amazing level - - what is also awesome, is that I have it with one of my cousins (because I didn't have actual siblings - but cousins a plenty)....the level(?), being able to talk openly about JESUS and our love for HIM.

So true Kirk God use our kids to bring out our bind spots. So experiencing that too. And now as a parent I so give my mom grace and forgiveness since I my child got older lol.
Speaking on the finding joy. I am literally going through at least five solid hard core things at once six now i just got a text right now saying i owe back rent but if you have to feed your spirit it will change your mood unconsciously. Meaning put on some gospel music or play some sermons on the topics you going through it will get you through the next hour then the next day. Next you know you have joy . Candace that was good what you said about joy. Love it!!! Love this whole conversation!!!
