Nov 3, 2023, Candace tweeted "No government anywhere has a right to commit genocide, ever. There is no justification for a genocide. I can't believe this needs to be said or is even considered the least bit controversial to state" Notice candace never mentions Israel or Hamas, but considering this was tweeted three weeks after the initial Hamas attack, it's clearly an implication that candace is accusing Israel of attempted genocide, in their response to the Hamas attack. Dave Rubin responded to the tweet with a chart that shows the increase in the Palestinian population over the last decade, implying that if Israel wanted to commit genocide they had a funny way of showing it. Candace responded by saying she refuses to clarify her tweet. (If she wasn't going to clarify it she should never have tweeted it. By not clarifying it she gave herself plausible deniability and hid her actual viewpoint behind an ambiguous tweet.) Dave Ruben pressed her. he sarcastically said "Ok, thanks for condemning Hamas." To which Candace called him "absolutely demented." Candace then had a Jewish comedian on her show to whom she said, "If anyone takes a position that opposes Israel in this situation, they are labeled Jew hater and anti Semitic." (And interesting comment coming from someone who was still hiding her position behind and ambiguous tweet." Meanwhile, the Young Turks were having a field day because they clearly could see that Candace was accusing Israel of attempted genocide; a point with which they whole heartedly agreed. So Ben gets asked about Candace. he correctly called her behavior disgraceful because instead of taking an outright position, she continued to hide behind an ambiguous tweet. I think Ben would have had more respect for her if she just came out and said that she thought Israel was committing genocide. that could at least open a dialog. Instead she cowardly remained ambiguous, which made her disreputable. Then Candace had the nerve to get on Tucker Carlson and accuse Ben of being emotional as if she didn't know what the fuss was about. She accused Ben of an Ad hominem attack when she knew fully well exactly what he was addressing. If she wasn't being cowardly about her stance the situation could have long been resolved. She's trying to shy away from her initial tweet by claiming to be pro- America. That's her way of deflecting from the issue. The Beatitudes are not offensive in and of themselves, but when they are being used to deflect from the actual issue, that's offensive.
But she knows EXACTLY what Ben is talking about. Candace has called Jews racist for not liking to live on the same street as their Israeli Jew neighbors. She has wondered why you have to stop killers. She has been shifty as heck lately. Ben is not having it. NOT NOW!
I'm a 46 year old white male...been on the liberal side of things my entire life (I assume because my parents were). This channel has literally changed my life. Being able to open my eyes, and educate myself along with all of you has been such a joy. I won't go so far as to call myself conservative....but I feel like my views are much more aligned with the likes of Ron Paul and Libertarians...and I never would've even considered that if it hadn't been for this channel.
I’m 2 yrs younger and am glad to hear about Ron Paul. The reality of our currency when contrasted with what is presented by the mainstream is scary isn’t it. My old keinster had to hit the library, finger the decimal system and read mostly hardbacks of many different origins to draw a personal conclusion. Speaking on the racism and all on college campuses, I’ve recently been having incidents like that on mine. For the most part I haven’t dealt with many who are extreme in their views. But in one of my classes the professor has been repeatedly trying to call me a racist and when we were talking about race being a social construct last week, she told me that my whiteness is preventing me from seeing the damage done to blackness and that my invisibility is preventing me from understanding how black only scholarships and clubs at school is helping black people
I am in graduate school, so I understand your situation. My advice. Pick and choose your battles. Some of these people are just brainwashed, and some of them are complete radicals or have a race-essentialist view where you could never prove anything to them. You have to realize when you're dealing with a radical ideology and just walk away. They aren't worth the debate because they are entirely lost. The best thing to do is give them no time. After all, the same argument could be used against them. For example, the reason they can't understand you is because their blackness/race-essentialism is preventing them from seeing the damage their ideology is doing to white people.

The Lukewarm reference was from Rev 13-17 which referred to the Church in Laodicea being lukewarm in their deeds, neither hot or cold.
