Sounds like a great choice! I started with piano but then got interested in guitar thanks to Tommy Emmanuels. The absolute best way is if you can find a couple of songs that you really love and one day wish to be able to play, that's what keeps students motivated. In my case I unfortunately fell in love with TE's Lewis & clark but not any version but exactly how he played it in this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-k38trYKCy-c.html I think it's fair to say that none of his songs are a good choice for a total beginner. I would never have made if it weren't because of how much I love this version, and it made me train 5-6 hours a day for about 6 month before I mastered it! Hope you already have some really motivating songs. I see it has now beem 2 years since your comment so hope you see this and please tell us how it went with the piano playing :)
Another killer EJ piece. I've been playing hard rock guitar since 1985, but I love some killer piano. Journey Faithfully Is one of my favorites. Actually, any Journey piano intro. Billy Joel has some good stuff, and finally, Sister Christian by Night Ranger.
Great play ..and if it was on classic piano would have been the best version i ever heard The electric piano cannot duplicate the magic sound of classic piano
Nicely done! Your version of the piano is the one that are closest to a midi file I had about 15 years ago, and what I did was to remove all other instruments and only play the piano and it sounds really good also if you play it 200% speed which was my plan to learn it but somehow it disappered and since then I've been trying to find the same midi file online but never managed to. I would say that the version you play are 75-80% of what this version was, but others never came close so I have to ask if you perhaps have the correct chords but did your own interpretation and your own style? I'm afraid that you might just have winged it and play your own version but It's so similar to the version i'm seeking for this to be a complete freestyle version. Perhaps this version is from elton john book? Hope you can tell me more! Great playing! It's always the most fun to play songs that one likes a lot, and I have a great one that I love playing and really recommend it for your next video. I think you like it too, there is a long drum solo before the end so what I did was to just put the two parts together which makes it fluent all the way through! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UKdVu5ViGpU.html
