Your table (and the other one at your first venue, the smaller place) looked soooo pretty!😍 You are doing it right. I’m a fellow Nyorker (Washington Heights, by the Geo Bridge) living in FL and trying to make candles and baskets in this crazy weather. It is not easy. I cried with this video because you are all of us, artisans, trying hard to set our feet in this market. They will be good days, bad days, mediocre days and wonderfully great days. DO NOT GIVE UP, DO NOT STOP. God works in ways that we might not understand at the moment but that make sense afterwards. You are a tough cookie and your resilience is the armor you coat yourself with. Thank you for sharing your experience, always remember that your dad is watching over you. I loveeed your display. You're doing such a great job and I am rooting for you 100%. I also want to say I'm sorry for your loss; I know that's tough. My daughter's birthday is on the 23rd as well (and my sister's on the 27th) -- I found it sweet how you and your dad share birthdays with my family. You know he's looking down and supporting everything you do and is your biggest fan! I look forward to seeing more of your videos!

Good job on the event!!! The more you do the better you will get. The nervousness will wear off as you go!!! Just a suggestion but when you don't have the foot traffic you are looking for, you must go out and get your business.Instead of the 2oz.tins I would give out the 1oz wax melt as samples along with a business card that has your etsy store website on it. Just a thought!!! Great content as usual!!! Good luck on your next vendor event!!!

Thank you so much 😊. It's funny because I had started off making those small 1 oz tins last year but wasn't sure how to market them effectively. I think for this next market I'm going to make some more and bring back my idea for them and of course add my business card as you suggested. Thank you for reminding me about this because I was brainstorming ways to bring people to my table more. So thank you again 😊

Your table looks really nice. What size wick do you use in your 8 oz Mason Jar. I tried wood wicks and don't think that was a good idea.

How much inventory are you taking to your first market? Are you taking wax melts?

Well for my 1st market, I took all my inventory which was like 70+ candles and 70 wax melts. That was way too much for that market as it was a smaller venue and not a lot of foot traffic. This one I just did, I took half of that. I tried to factor in the size of the market and asked the event coordinators for an estimate of how many people they were expecting to show up.
