I agree! This version is better than the original. I first started burning it in my guest room, but it was so strong in there, that I moved it to the entryway. I did also have Spiced Apple Crumb going in the kitchen, & when those two scents met in the middle of the open concept and blended, it was fantastic! If there's another sale, this is a definite repurchase.
I was also burning my 3 wick from the original TSV last week. Trying to get through a brick of Baked Apple Pie so burning this one & BBW's Warm Apple Pie with it.
Oh Melanie! This scent sounds so delicious! I am sorry that the throw is not that great! I love pie scents and wish I would see more pie scents from different companies. A few years ago BBW had a cherry pie scent and I missed out on that one and have not ever seen it come back. Now I am hungry for apple or cherry pie!🍎🍒🥧. Thanks for the review!
I’m going back through and watching some of your older reviews. I found a Homeworx Dutch apple pie at my local HomeGoods and I’m wondering is this the same scent? I watched your older review where you said that the Dutch apple pie had no piecrust note but I was wondering if these candles were one in the same?
Hello! I am. Not in the last two weeks oddly enough but yes, still have it and love it. I think the HomeWorx actually do better in a crock, obviously not the 3 wicks but their 3 wicks are fantastic in the crocks.
I did have one ? Regarding a candle crock. Can you use it with a candle that is taller than the crock? I just received mine and my yankee candle in large tumber is taller than the crock
I am not sure if you are talking about the traditional yankee jars with the slightly tapered opening or another style, but I have put completely unburned jars in my crocks and those all melted just fine. I have not shopped at Yankee in a few years so I am unsure of how tall the new one's are but I am assuming not much taller. They SHOULD be fine in the crock but maybe compare the height.
