OK, I have to give credit where credit is due, especially since I've really struggled with this brand. I have not had much success with these candles and I have tried more then a few and have been very disappointed with the scent and the throw, but I really like this candle. I think it's very similar to Sicilian Orange, 9I think Sicilian Orange has more of a herbaceous and I found this one to be more citrus), but I like it better. That candle didn't open up for me until after the second or third burn. And for the first time this candle opened up for me in the beginning and lasted to the end. I did find it stronger in the beginning until halfway and I would give it probably a 7 even an 8 but the fragrance died down towards the end to probably about a 6 but it was still enjoyable. I really enjoyed this one and it will probably be a repurchase for me.

thanks for sharing and congrats on your upcoming collab with Kringle..............I am done buying candles for awhile..................I really only like burning them in the Fall and during Christmas because there are so many awesome scents around. I have bought a few Homeworks summer candles thru QVC which I might try to get thru soon.............U raved about the Kringle SICILIAN ORANGE so I bought that and received it the end of the same week.............I am in OH...........burned it today.............ZERO scent or throw.......I was crushed............the medium size tumbler..............I am almost at the half way mark............lit it 2 different times hours apart. HUGH disappointment............oh well..........that's the candle life...........but I refuse to keep throwing money away on scentless over priced candles.....smells like Walmart and Target will be the candle spot for me...........BBW is a hit and miss for me too and with them raising their prices I for sure will not support them.......have not bought a BBW candle in 2 or 3 years..............anywho.............PEACE AND BLESSINGS.

Karen, you should reach out to Kringle and let them know your experience. I have yet to burn a Sicilian orange and not have it be a good performer. I’ve been through 3 now (well on the last third of my third). There might be something up with the batch. I always let them know when I have an issue. It can help them resolve it. They may also offer to replace it for you. I can’t guarantee that but it’s worth reaching out.

@@MrKongsMom well..............Guess I will never know how the above mentioned smells..................emailed them and they are giving me a refund...........I enjoy Fall and Christmas scented candles so much more.............usually do not burn candles in the Summer..........thanks

I went with your review on this candle as well as purchased the Sicilian orange…. OMG delicious……. I would have never tried it and I LOVED IT. I love your reviews and your pups…. They are the best helpers

I really like this one! It’s so citrusy and refreshing! It’s throwing really well I can smell it all throughout the first floor of my house. The first burn it didn’t throw as well for me but each subsequent burn has been incredible! SO impressed with the super clean non sooty burn!! I didn’t know candles so perfectly clean 😍

Melanie, great video! I got a Kringle order today, Sunday and Sicilian Orange came. I have been excited about getting this one with the great reviews. Unfortunately, my candle has zero fragrance. Not a Light throw of 2, I mean no fragrance at all. I let it burn for a couple hours and it had almost an inch pool, nothing. The wax turned an ashy color as well! I blew it out and when it hardens, I will trim the wicks and let it pool and throw out the discolored wax and see if I can start over and get any fragrance. I wish I had thought to pitch the wax before it hardened, but I didn’t. I think I got a dud here, first dud with Kringle.

For sure reach out to them regarding this because my Sicilian oranges have never done this. Sounds like something is up with it. The fact it turned ashy isn’t right and the scent is for sure not a weak performer. Reach out to their customer service for sure!

@@MrKongsMom Melanie, I did attempt to reburn after dumping out the first batch of discolored wax. Trimmed the wicks and relit and no fragrance, the candle starting giving off puffs of smoke and spitting and then our dog went crazy barking at the candle and would not stop until I blew it out. She did the same crazy thing the first time burning too. I was lucky yesterday was a warmer day and was able to open the windows to get rid of the kerosene type odor. What is so strange is after each time blowing it out, I could smell a beautiful orange fragrance putting my nose up to the candle! Clearly something was wrong because I have purchased enough Kringle candles to know how they are supposed to be. I took a photo of the bottom of the candle which looks to have a manufacturer date and perhaps other info they might need and emailed Kringle. I want to say, I am so impressed with Kringle's email customer service. They responded right away and told me the candle was not safe and to discard it. They are sending the photo to their quality center. She told me not to return the candle ( I offered to do that). I am going to reorder the fragrance but I want to wait a month or two, to be certain I do not get another from the same lot and allow them time to investigate the lot issue so they can clear out what they may need to. I will say the fragrance I smelled from the pool of wax AFTER blowing the candle out was heavenly, unfortunately, the only thing one could smell when burning was a chemical fuel odor. I know I will have no hesitancy ordering from Kringle in the future, they stand behind their product and their email customer service is better than those companies with phone customer service. So impressed!

I’ve never smelled the 🌋 candle. I was pleased to learn that Essentials is a happy fragrance, good throw. I love citrus.🍊☺️ The Daylight I received was extremely light after burning for about 2 hours, so I emailed customer service (waiting for a reply). I did order a large soy jar based on your good review.🍊I also ordered Fruit & Flakes, and my favorite Autumn Kringle soy candle, Pumpkin Peppercorn. Hi Melanie, thank you for your review! I have never been in an Anthropologie store, or smelled Capri Blue Volcano, but I have BBW's Sun Washed Citrus and really enjoy that one, so I think I will try Kringle's Essentials scent, at least in the Daylight to start. I really like their Sicilian Orange, and am a little more than halfway done with the large 2-wick I got after watching your review of that one!

Thank you for this! I've spent a ton of money in the past few months on Capri Blue from Anthropologie and the quality isn't what it used to be at all. I'm so excited to try this one! Have you tried the Life in Lilac candles yet? I just got some recommended by Casey Holmes from RU-vid and they're really good, very strong.

Do you like Essentials as much as Scillian Orange? What is the throw level on Scillian Orange?

Well, they are close. But I still love my Sicilian Orange more. The throw level on the two are pretty similar in my experience. Both are great citrus scents if you are into that vibe.
