Went to candlewood for the first time in late May. I’m from Rhode Island we called in sick from work and did a day trip out there. With traffic ended up doing 6 hrs or driving that day. Put together a nice pattern and got my PB small mouth. Will definitely be back for more, wish there was more grass.
Lack of grass will make the fishing easier for a while. Same happened on Mahopac, easy and then tough. Looked common carp to me...but gave him a nice time non the less. Thanks again for watching.
@@MrHvbassThey thought the Gobies we're gonna kill the smallmouth fishery on the great lakes..The complete opposite happened...The weeds are thicker then ever in mahopac right now..Its a cycle all lakes go through where people mess with them
