Love that you did it the right way man most people just lay the stripes on Over the clear and it makes it look cheap as far as I'm concerned. Looks fantastic.
I was referred to this man's videos on another utube site don't remember the name but gave this high praise for his work and I totally agree his attention to detail is amazing and when I get my next project ready I will be using a lot of his tips its because of him I will be shooting my first candy paint job in a garage just like him thank you for putting These videos out I look forward to them

HEY SPRAYWAY......I am not sure what clear you used. But we use Inetercoat clear or blend panel clear. it is like a clear basecoat that dries in minutes. Then you sand between some coats....Like put 3 coats on, then sand it a little then put another 2 coats on then sand the whole car then clear the whole thing with high solids clear. In the near future like within the next year I will be showing the process on custom paint (graphics) how to do it. It is the same thing My friend pete used on the oval window paint job. I saw you commented on that video.

I watch all your videos and hardly ever comment but I have to say that the fact I have been a sub of yours for so long, and keep seeing all the great work you do, keeps me motivated and helps with my PTSD. I worked as a paint prep person back in the early 2000’s and I do all the bodywork on my project videos. Thank you for everything you do! great info there Sprayway. as always. showing the world how its done....The custom paint, candies and stripes. I usually make those in the vinyl machine with spray mask paint them on and clear over......Nothing wrong with what your doing. When you dont have the vinyl machine it is the other way to do it.
Bro ,i can only hope i do half as good as you on my 79 black and yellow rally sport, i have a dent by the deck lid and it has rusted ,watching you do the green iroc z showed me alot ,thanks for showing in detail what to do to fix whatever wrong
Nice job on them stripes at first I wasn’t sure if I like them , but after the clear they look really good . U got them so even and Straight. It’s got the 80”s look now with a fresh Kandy Twist .. Once again nice work! Your work and great vids helps me at night , I can’t sleep And get anxiety .. I do enjoy watching you do these bad ass paint jobs. I painted for years so it’s cool to sit back watch somebody do it all and do it right. So keep the killer paint jobs and vids coming!!!!!

Very nice job. When i first saw the yellow tape i was questioning it but DAMN that looks really good and it pops with WOW FACTOR. Another great job SprayWay. And sanding the tape.....never knew. Awesome tips. Thank you
Those pinstripes and decals look good on that candy, but that clear coat set it off. Always great to see your work SprayWay, I cant say it enought man but your a poet in that spray booth.

Master, that was terrible. You need more practice. I’m going to send you a 1991 Cyclone 454, so you can practice some more. HAHA. Jokes aside. Man, this video is exactly what I was looking for. I have to paint the 1991 Cyclone and it was a truck that had lots of stickers/ stripes, and I was dying to figure out how I can make them permanent, keeping them stickers and stripes from fading and peeling. I didn't think I would like the yellow but it goes hard! Once it was all layed out on the car It looked perfect against the candy! I like it a lot. Sprayway Always schoolin lol
