Candy is the best sax player ever, so in love with her playing...Low to high range, perfect pitch, perfect timing, perfect reed tonguing all the nuances. Is brave enough to sing as well and carry it off. Drummer is fabulous!
Yes she is a great sax player. I enjoy listening to her. I also have been playing the Saxophone since I was 11 yrs. old. Enjoy that instrument so much.
I'm a huge Candy Dulfer fan and had no idea of her Father Hans! Love these women Sax players....just like Mindy Abair! I'm a huge Smooth Jazz fan and these musical women fit right in!
Omg this brings back memories.....close 35 years ago, and Candy is still goin strong! I played keys myself and count myself lucky to have played with Eveline Carels, who filled in for our regular drummer once with little preparation, she is a cracker (and a very lovely person).And holy cow, just noticed how 90s Heavenly City sounds LoL love it.
Wow, what a great performance by all. It amazes me how Candy Dufer can look so good in all the camera shots, regardless of the technical challenges required. As an alto and soprano sax player I know how difficult these high power shows can be. I salute Candy Dulfer and all her supporting musicians.
Yes!!!! Guess what??? Candy is still every bit as gorgeous today than back then!!!!!! Maybe even more so!! She still plays with the man on guitar, Ulco, who is very likely to be one of the best guitar players on the planet!!! Also probably the least known guitar player as well, unfortunately! The man is truly beyond what nearly anyone else can do! So is the woman on the sax!!!!! Suppose that's why she toured with Prince for quite awhile, we all know that as one of the people in the music business with the highest of expectations, Prince didn't play with anyone who was just another musician, he found the best of the best! Candy Dulfer is indeed all that and then some! Funk it up Funk it up Funk it up!!!!!
