The ticket to heaven is through Jesus as what He said while here in earth "I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me. Taking care of your son though it's hard means you got the attributes of God: being patient, loving, caring etc. loving the Father, Son, and Holy spirit and knowing what Gods wants and knowing His Word is very important as well as what God hates is all written in the book of life.
