WHAT A BAD FUR PARENT YOU ARE FOR ALLOWING THIS TO HAPPEN, JUST BECAUSE YOU WANT TO HAVE A DESIGNER PET😠😠😠, YOUR THE ONE WHO IS DERANGED & SHOULD BE PUBLICLY SHAMED & PROSCUTED 😠😠😠😠😠, WHY DON'T YOU GET COSMETIC SURGERY ON YOURSELF & BE MUTILATED LIKE THE DOG IS ! ! ! ! ! 😠😠😠
Ok so at day 3 bandages came off, cone is still on. Day 7 scabs on ears. Day 14 (2weeks) cone came off, stiches still in tact and you just let the ears heal. Thanks for this
@@sonny7833 I’m interested in getting a puppy In the near future I’m just looking for a good temperament . Would you be able to Provide me with the breeder’s information?
With what, and how did you clean his ears? We got our dogs ears cropped two days ago and bandages are off. He has scabs but no luck in getting him to sit still while we clean them
@@cshoults96 I can’t remember what was used for cleaning… something probably from the vet most likely with some sort of paper towel. Yeah, not an easy task.
What about mixed Cane corso's, ours is a carnodoodle? I don't think so because he's so curly like his dad! And his long tail... He looks like a curly corso, we're at odds against the dad!!
Hi I got my dogs ears show cropped yesterday and was searching on RU-vid for after care. My corso’s ears came out of the bandages last night by itself, everyone’s saying it’s not a big deal but today he keeps itching the cone where his ears are… what should I do?
Definitely leave the cone on. They will be irritable and itchy, it’s part of the healing process. If your dog isn’t taking something to deal with the discomfort I suggest getting something from your vet. At the time of crop I left the vet with medication that helps them with that.
@@sonny7833 okok, thank you! The vet gave 4 days of pain medication and 14 days worth of antibiotics. He seems to be doing better now but I’m concerned about the white stuff on his ears. Vet said not to use water to clean but do u think hydrogen peroxide will help?
@@utkarshsreshtth1277 I’m not sure what white stuff you’re talking about exactly. I 100% recommend contacting your vet for advice. If there aren’t any open wounds and you’ve been following the vet’s advice then you’re probably ok. Again, I would contact your vet for advice though.
Im no really sure if I want mine to go through that😢 I just feel so badd I don’t want him to go through the pain and everything🥺 what are the advantages of that
@@cloudvisualz I don't own a corso but I have owned a lot of dogs that typically get cropped and docked like great dane, Doberman, etc. I have not had any of my dogs cropped because there are no positives, just looks. If you think your dog looking more "tough" is worth them not being able to communicate, then go for it.
I have a Corso puppy. This is a outdated procedure. It was useful when dogs were soldiers or used for dog fighting. These are pets now. This is unnecessary trauma for the puppy, and expense for the owner
@@sonny7833 - I had a beautiful Bullmastiff girl for over 11 years. I was thinking about another one, but the health is so bad, they’re averaging 7 years. I did my research and found Corsos. For a mastiff breed, they are very healthy. I love my mastiffs
This is illegal in many parts of the world. Its totally unnecessary. Its cruel. Perhaps you would let me crop yours. Its only cosmetic. You should be degusted with yourself. Dog lover! Oh come on.
Not unnessary but true. As I said its pain for cosmectic use only. Not sure what country this is but Europe banned all this and quite rightly so. There are no excuses.
Sadly, some veterinarians still see nothing wrong with mutilating a dog whose guardian is willing to pay for it. The American Veterinary Medical Association states that “ear-cropping and tail-docking are not medically indicated nor of benefit to the patient. These procedures cause pain and distress and, as with all surgical procedures, are accompanied by inherent risks of anesthesia, blood loss, and infection. Therefore, veterinarians should counsel dog owners about these matters before agreeing to perform these surgeries.”
oh I'm sorry so when you have a guardian type dog breed that lives with other large dogs and could get into a fight with wild animals or pack members that a cropped ear does jack shit? stfu cropped ears help the animals tons and provides protection to the dog and the ears are less likely to get infected if its done medically rather than in a fight
