When did Munguia get gun shy? The dude kept fighting and applying pressure even after that knockdown he just couldn't finish Canelo and continued to get hit by counters for most of the fight. He still had a pretty solid performance though.

At some point I was afraid of Canelo not connecting, but when he did it, just one hit, it turned all the fight on his favor, Munguia got smaller abd Canelo got bigger, it was an amazing effect.

Hats off to both Munguia and Alvarez. Munguia is talented, powerful and throws in volumes but was outclassed by a clinical and hard hitting Canelo. I just love Canelo, he's definitely one of the best.

I feel like canelo held back so much , so many open shots he could’ve hit Jaime with but didn’t want to hurt the kid and scare him for the rest of his life I see it , canelo just gave him a little taste of, canelo has way more power , not once did I see him load up those hits were all taps to the body , the knock out was light work for canelo

Canelo literally stayed in front of the dangerous munguia all night, used elite defense to avoid most of his punches, and countered beautifully all night. I think what people forget about canelo is he lost at a lower weight to a great and lost to a heavier weight great. Weight played a huge part to both losses.Canelo is 1 of the greats

Mungia is as STRONG AS A BULL. NO ONE has survived Canelo to go 12 after getting hammered early on in the fight. He didnt fight to survive like most have, he hung in the pocket at close distance ALL FIGHT. Do people realize how absurd that is against Canelo? WILD. I left with a TON of respect for Mungia after this one. RESPECT.
