I hear what youre saying but I saw Canelo saying 200M as just some random throw-away number, at that point he was already sick and tired of all the Benavidez questions when he was trying to promote his fight with Munguia. I really do think that Canelo’s team has been gameplanning to drain Benavidez as to them it’ll even out the playing fields considering Canelo is on the decline. In their mind Benavidez is younger, bigger and hungrier, draining him is only fair. Ofc, if this does happen Benavidez won’t have any excuse because the fight was ALWAYS discussed to be had at 168 - Canelo will be blameless. A pretty good plan imo

No, facts are David’s promoter (Sampson Lewkowicz) already responded to Canelo’s $150/$200M demand on camera saying $150 million guaranteed to fight is doable and he can get that money ready for a Nov. 2024 showdown. David’s team (and boxing fans) are the ones begging for the fight - so canelo is just milking it as much as possible to “rob the bank” like when Floyd fought Pac. When the fight happens you’ll see David ain’t no monster and you’ll gain a lil more boxing 🥊 knowledge 🧠 to your tool bag. 💼
