That stretch of games between USF and Duke is tough. You’re basically saying this team is going to win in Gainesville and dominate a stretch with a trip to California. You’ve seen us play, so I don’t have to tell you how that sounds.
Man I know what I'm looking at. Anyone looking at this team can see where it's going. What I find funny from everyone. Miami has had different coaches n different players over the pass 20 years. Never in that 20 years have you seen attention put on the Canes like it has been recently. If this was any other team. There wouldn't be any negative talk. This team is improving, regardless of their name. They will perform and play at their level.. I'll Drink for all my Cane fans.. I'll hold yall down til yall get back...😂😂😂
I’ve been stirring the coolaid. Here’s some numbers to ponder on. Ward 3770 yards,X 1100,George 850,Brown 800,Martinez 1200 yards last year. Top10 offensive line that gave up 14 sacks all season. 2 deep on the DL,LB & second year with the same offensive & defensive coordinators.

Cafecito, maybe the best way to look at this years canes squad is to go back to last year's team that Cam Ward was on and matchup Miami's current squad to WashStates last year - Was WS better on defense? Were they better on offense? Was the OLine better or worse? Was the defense better or worse? I think that could give you a good idea of MIami's potential for this season. You have to admit the QB position could be a big difference for this season. Will Ward be a huge playmaker and pull out some victories that the odds maker were not expecting? Go Canes!
Nope nope nope, not drinking it. Dont care what this person is saying and that person is saying. The roster can be full of 5*s, until Mario proves he can get a team prepared and locked in on game day, the roster or weak schedule doesn't matter. Coaching, coaching, coaching has failed us 2 yrs in a row under Mario's leadership. We had a better roster than Mtsu, duke, gtech, rutgers, ncst, and probably unc; it means nothing until you prove it on the field. This why other programs clown on us; we self-proclaim ourselves as off-season champs errrrrrrry year, talk sh1t then poot the bed. You can love this team w/out making a fool out yourself year after year. I know, i know, this year is different; we got this and ppl are saying that. I mean haven't i heard all this hype like the last 5-10 yrs. Let me see Mario's staff develop somebody. All these players coming in were developed by others and we just had the money to lure them away. I rock the orange &green like no other but im a realist and a "show me why this is different"guy. Do i like the roster, of course. Is the the schedule favorable, absolutely. Then what's the problem, Mario's stubbornness will overshadow talent and the fan base will blame Guidry and/or Shannon when Mario dictates the game plan and interferes with game flow 🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤
Respectfully, I’m with this gentleman. Coaching needs to improve big time. If not, it doesn’t matter who Miami plays. They can lose to a high school team based on their previous coaching.
We’ve had the talent advantage in games before and found a way to lose. All of QB and WR advantages run against Mario’s DNA, so we will negate them with conservative play calling. It’s an 8 win season which would show progress.
8 win season will be a massive failure. Mario went away from the aggressive playcalling last year because he didn’t trust TVD. Unless Cam shits the bed, I don’t see that happening. Plus with Cam at QB and these WRs, how are ppl gonna stack the box on us?
@@cafecitoandcanes7169 All of the plans are fine in theory, but it’s not going to work as well in the first few games. The stretch of games from USF to Duke is difficult and has a cross country trip. Eight wins is a great season because it shows progress.
