Its really difficult to tell which direction the show will go with Effie's mother. The writing has been all over the place. Some episodes have been lackluster while others have been really good. Tasha was acting suspicious when Tariq showed up. We will see where they go with everything ❤ the content.

I wouldn't be surprised if Carter kept that recording as an insurance policy, kinda like Proctor keeping that laptop. He could leverage that recording in more than one way just to keep Tariq in line. I predict Carter deletes Niko next. Niko gives off Victor Flynn vibes.

The theory of Cane taking out Noma and Davis is what I mentioned in MarcDarks Video from today. Tariq and Brayden along with Diana become the new Ghost Tommy and Tasha respectively. Tariq eventually sets up Cane to go to jail, Monet goes to jail and Dru dies by Cane. Tariq becomes the distro to Nomas brother in Nigeria.

Effie will survive in my opinion. She had the least back story and can be used the most. I hope she survives

Effie is an informant. Like you stated in the video, she knocked Lauren out them told the cops where to find her. She followed Brayden there not to kill Lauren but to save her. Also people don’t remember Jenny Sullivan literally saying there was an informant in Tariq’s crew last season. Only thing I wouldn’t understand is her angle with setting up Tariq last season because he definitely could’ve gotten killed.

This show needs a continuity person because each year something changes. How did Carter know Angela’s sister? What happened to the video that the cop took from Meccas apartment? What happened to her ? She worked for the feds Carter doesn’t .. why didn’t Monet know more about Mecca , There are a ton of inconsistencies that cannot be wrapped in 3 episodes. That question about Effie being a Narc did cross my mind from when she came on the scene. Her mom will be revealed, since she had a call from mom on her phone. I agree with Cane's motive to take over, cause he's always trying to gain power and gain respect from Monet. Not certain about Cane killing Davis, but there is a possibility. Congressman Tate, appeared not to believe the cop's story, so they'll have to be showdown between them. Not certain about Diana and Tairek, because I think Effie still loves him too.
