So someone said if these frames are so similar why won’t they do this but it sure looks like they will to me. Let me know what you think in the comments section below and please like, share, and subscribe. Thank you
I have the Rival-S and this TTi Combat. The triggers are different. The TTi has less travel to the wall, the Rival-S has more travel to the wall The TTi breaks on 3.5 lbs and the Rival-S breaks on 4.5 lbs The other major differences are the barrel and the compensator. The rival-s has a flutted barrel. The TTi has a flutted, twisted and ported barrel with the built in removeable compensator. The Rival-S has a much better slide lock engagement lever, it has more material on it to lift up. The TTi has a smaller slide lock lever with less material so lifting it up to lock it is difficult for me. ALL my other guns i can lift the slide lock with ease, this TTi is a bit of a pita. The Rival-S shoots flatter because if its much heavier frame.
Thank you for this Brother….. funny that the people at the gun store didn’t know this….. I’ve got the TTI and I’ll be getting the rival after watching this. New to the channel. Just sub’d…. Keep going.
The tti top end with the Rival-s bottom end .... HMM i have both but i wont even dare to try it. Rumor has it they are going to come out with a steel frame version of this gun which should shoot better than the Rival-S if it has the port and the compensator on it
@@ACommenterOnRU-vidu speculating off the idea that a comped gun is better but it’s not always true…my steel Rival is ported with 3 ports I’m convinced it’s flatter and faster than the TTI..I’ve been monitoring this TTI and I think it’s overrated…talk to some shooters who shot both..all comps are designed different and work different.
@@SHOOTERS_G.n.B i agree with you as my Rival-S does shoot flatter then the TTi and my Rival-S is not ported or compensated. The TTi trigger is better than the Rival-S, it has less travel before the wall and breaks with 3.5 lbs ... where the Rival-S has more travel and needs about 4.5 lbs to break. The TTi does shoot better than my TP9-SFX btw ...
I have the black Canik Rival sfx s I agree with you it's a better gun bought it at classic firearms 850 plus 30 shipping tax ffl you at about a grand but well worth the money put the cyelee bull Pro X on it huge red dot
Just so you know, the Canik Combat is just a mete frame. Any and all Canik mete models are interchangeable and functions as it should. The older tp9 models will not work on the mete frames. The elite combat will work on the mete frames as well.
@@OwwMyEye4240 I think the Canik combat is a huge swing and a miss with asking prices over a thousand bucks right now. I sold mine already because my Mete SF with threaded barrel and comp shoots better than the TTI version and it only cost me 500 bucks with custom stippling, red dot, and comp
Wow thanks for the video. There's quite a few videos out there on youtube, including Canik with Taran Butler Saying this was built from ground up. It's nice to know companies and their sponsors will outright lie to you. Makes me second Guess on ever buying a Canik again.
I’m not saying never buy one again but just realize for $1000 Taran probably had very little to do with the actual pistol other than a few cosmetics and a port. They just made it the cheapest way they could and probably be able to pay him his royalties as well.
I’m curious how the trigger feels with the combat slide on the rival frame. I know you said the rival trigger felt better but I’m wondering it needs a break in period
The emphasis in the pronunciation of Canik Mete should be placed on the first syllable of each name: “jah-neek MEH-teh.” The meaning of Canik Mete typically remains constant as representing bravery and valor.
Are the strike assembly the same/interchangeable? Id like to order a new firing pin assembly but i cant find any for the tti so id like to order the firing assembly from the mete / rival if possible
@@dsnipedu My cousin was talking about this a few weeks ago. I took my rival one out and couldn’t tell a difference in them. I didn’t put it in the TTI and try it but they did look the same to me.
