She had superficial injuries to herself she didn’t STAB her self she scratched herself. She should be in prison for life.

And just like the 108 injuries to Caleb, they weren't all stabs. Probably because she was in a state of psychosis and not acting logically.

If she was drunk and killed someone it wouldn’t be any excuse for her behavior. She’s really lucky her privilege saved her a life sentence. You think a black guy would get INVOLUNTARY MANSLAUGHTER for this crime? Not a chance. How do you stab a person 107 times then blame a hit of weed? Let’s get real here.

A white male would get a much harsher sentence than a black person or a woman. Look at Daniel Perry vs other similar cases.

Did she take on her own volition? She’s guilty.

Isn't psychosis always involuntary? Maybe thats why there are no laws about it. People who truly become psychotic and kill someone are potential cases for pleading not guilty by reason of insanity. In this case, they blamed the marijuana. Any drug can trigger psychosis in people who are predisposed. There is no research that supports cannibis being the most common. There is more violence and murder involving alcohol. Nobody becomes violent and kills someone as result of smoking weed. Any number of things could have triggered a pyschotic episode in this woman, and any drug.

California law holds individuals accountable for their actions, even under the influence of drugs. In this instance, the judge opted to lessen her sentence, claiming she was coerced into using marijuana. While I understand the reasoning in these circumstances, it's essential to question the lack of concrete evidence or witnesses supporting her account without reasonable doubt. There are no recorded pieces of evidence, aside from her testimony, to substantiate this version of events. Relying solely on the perpetrator's testimony without any supporting witnesses or evidence is irresponsible and should be viewed incredible.

There is evidence of marijuana induced psychosis and expert witnesses. Even the prosecution agreed and their expert witness.

Bs, no matter your state of mind you are responsible for your own actions, if it were forced consumption that be a different story. Else; all dwi caused deaths would be responsiblty or drug/alcohol/pharmaceutical manufacturers.

Thank you Aubree, Christy ,Heidi for educating the community on this dangerous trend. We see the violence and pot connection in law enforcement. We arrest suspects transporting illegal high potency chemically laden, toxic pot into both legal and illegal dispensaries. Life with possibility of parole and give Bryn a long time to figure personal out responsibility.

I would love to see the transcripts. My heart is very invested. There is a lot of drug addiction in my family. Mental health issues also. My son is so young, but marijuana is EVERYWHERE. And he's already begun using regularly. We've stopped keeping alcohol in our home. We don't smoke anything. But so many parents do. The access is so easy. My son is very similar in personality to my sister who has addiction. He just turned 14 and I've been battling this already for a year. He's just so young. They just don't understand. They're told it's harmless by adults they respect who have vape pens, weed pens... in their pockets everywhere they go. I couldn't get high the first several times I smoked. And I HATED how it felt to have smoke in my lungs and the coughing. I tend to need a lot of a substance to feel it's effects. However, when I did get high the first time, I became extremely paranoid and anxious. It's fascinating and scary how different the effects are for individuals based on the way it's ingested, it's potency, and strand. I have never enjoyed a single "high" experience. It's just a road to intense anxiety for me. But loved ones find it calms their anxiety 🤷 Oh, I also recalled a story my father told me about his first and last experience with weed. He said he thinks that's when his anxiety started! Which I think is interesting for this topic. Because that was 40+ years ago! But, he loved the way alcohol lowered his inhibition. My mom was the reverse! Loved to get high. They did not continue drug and alcohol use once I was born. So, they were only 12-22 having these experiences with substances in late 70's to mid 80's.

Thank you so much for advocating for the public to be made aware of the danger involved with today’s marijuana. As a health care professional, I see the repercussions of people of all ages and health conditions being told it is a safe substance. We are letting the marijuana industry get rich at the expense of our families and friends. People need to be informed of the possible repercussions of using pot. Thank you again for your efforts to educate!

I want to know why your only interested in pot, Alcohol kills way more people, prescription pill abuse kills way more people I’m with you on children don’t need to be using psychoactive chemicals of any kind, but a grown adult should have the freedom to do as they please as long as they don’t hurt anyone, A detective murdered his boss in a hotel room once while blackout drunk and couldn’t remember doing it. If your going to attack pot you should be against all psychoactive drugs of any kind or else it’s just kinda hypocritical
