In today’s Cannes Film festival round up, actors and real people re-enact the past to understand why two young sisters left Tunisia and their family to fight for the Islamic State in Syria. It comes from Tunisian filmmaker Kaouther Ben Hania, who is one of the 7 female filmmakers in competition.
Also on the programme with Eve Jackson, a round up of the competition so far including films with Natalie Portman, Julianne Moore, Jude Law and Alicia Vikander, and more on Lily Rose Depp’s TV series premiere of 'The Idol', with the musician The Weeknd.
