He was so right about Trainspotting becoming a cult movie. The soundtrack is iconic, (I still have it on cassette) when I watched it I immediately knew Ewan McGregor was gonna go places, I wasn’t wrong now he’s huge, Danny Boyle became an Oscar-winner director, the movie became an icon of the 90’s generation (gen x old millennials) idk what else to say? And after my first watch it became my favorite movie back then, and it still is, 28 years later. I recently went to a Trainspotting themed party (yes there’s this alt disco here where they do those kinds of parties lol) and the music was just on point. They played a lot of Blur also. It was perfect.
