I like cannibal corpse. They write their songs like a 3 minute horror film. And Its not like the lyrics are terrible. They have great rythm and great guitar solos.

The Wretched Spawn is possibly my favourite of theirs (though it's difficult to choose, really). You should look up the instrument-only studio video of Frantic Disembowelment, it's awesome. Kill's another great album, though as I say - pretty much all of their albums are great in their own way, from the originals with Chris Barnes right up to Torture, last year.
I'm proud of this band, one of the few metal bands still making albums, that haven't sold out. They keep their shit original, and metal. Well that's my opinion anyway aha.
Please upload a high quality version of that video. That pixelated imagery and low-quality sound doesn't do justice to that brilliant song and cool video.
don't know how but cc have managed to maintain their creativity through all these years, not something that many bands can do. "kill" is a monster of an album! i have to listen to all of it immediately.
The shots of Webster in the doorway are the epitome of what an awesome metal musician should look like.Whenever I play w/my band,I'm always mindful that not only do I have to play accurately,I have to look as cool as Alex Webster.Nobody even comes close to being as good as Cannibal Corpse,musicianship-wise,stage presence-wise,or just being plain badass.
You NEED active pickups or high-output passives to get the clarity, along with good distortion. For actives, I would recommend Seymour Duncan Mick Thompson EMTY Blackouts (which are designed for the low-end). For passives, I would recommend Bareknuckle Aftermath, Seymour Duncan Invader, or DiMarzio CrunchLab.
I got to meet George in 09 really nice guy and just a badass. He's huge he told me he is 6'8. No better vocalist for this band. I told him not to eat me just alittle humour.

Because deathcore is shitty and death metal is the shit. Breakdowns don't take talent. Infant Annihilator is okay besides the breakdowns but Rings of Saturn is pretty shit.
Ethan Garrison Have you even listened to Rings of Saturn? They incorporate a lot of sweep picking and technical riffs into their songs. Sure they have breakdowns but they are very minimal.
@InfliiKted Yeah, I know what you mean, and it all comes down to preference really. This song isn't too bad, but I'm not nuts about metal anymore, I listen to video game soundtracks more than anything else now, but it all comes down to preference, and not everyone will like the same thing, which is why so many different genres exist, as different people have different tastes, and that's the magical thing about music, variety.
