Actually, this might be the best love ballad ever: *Some enchanted evening, you may see a stranger, You may see a stranger across a crowded room, And somehow you know, you know even then, That somehow you'll see here again and again. Some enchanted evening, someone may be laughing, You may hear her laughing across a crowded room, And night after night, as strange as it seems, The sound of her laughter will sing in your dreams. Who can explain it, who can tell you why? Fools give you reasons, wise men never try. Some enchanted evening, when you find your true love, When you hear her call you across a crowded room, Then fly to her side and make her your own, Or all through your life you may dream all alone. Once you have found her, never let her go, Once you have found her, never let her go. Lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II Music by Richard Rogers From the musical ‘South Pacific.’ Try this performance-the best one ever. Zach Butler yeah my favorite Cannibal Corpse Love Song is my favorite song off Tomb Of The Mutilated which is Entrails Ripped From A Virgin's Cunt which they haven't done since at least 1994 according to my records.
Yeah the bleeding has extremely horror film feeling because it feel like a real human doing it instead of a zombie like on tomb of the mutilated or Butchered at birth
@@kidnamedfinger5564 fr tho I understand the other songs (like this one) are about how the rapist/murderer thinks and yes there is gore in them but to bring dead CHILDREN into a song is just horrendous (in my opinion at least) I mean it’s okay to write lyrics in the perspective of someone insanely deluded (like the person in necrophiliac) but Jesus Christ I think they went too far with the descriptions of what he did to the children
I prefer Tomb of the mutilated and Butchered at Birth... Lyrics like the one of "ripped entrails..." Or "necropedophile" are just a fine piece of art. Also Barnes voice was better in those albums, his growls were just unique and his screams sounded like a pig being assassinated, plus the guitar riffs were more "aggressive" and "dirty". All of this is just my opinion... To me, it will always be 1) TotM 2) BaB 3) TB 4) EBTL After Chris Barnes, CC became shit so I don't care about Vile and so on
Probably my favorite Barnes album. Vocally, he was at the top of his game before a long and precipitous decline. He was deeper on Tomb of the Mutilated but this album had more variety and creepier moments, like the whispered "Come to me..." refrain.
Cannibal corpse will never sound the same without Chris Barnes in it to me. Chris Barnes will never sound the same without Cannibal corpse to me either.
Maybe Barnes’ departure is like the trauma kids experience when their parents divorce? They might try to accept the partners of their parents but it shall not ever be the same again. 🥲
@@LEUMASGEIS If he took the time to stop smoking and exercised his voice again, that would be amazing. If Corey Taylor could do it after almost losing his voice after volume 3, then Chris definitely can. Corey came back stronger than I ever could have imagined vocally. It's your turn Barnes! 🤘
Seen em in 04 and me n my buddy were screaming for em yo play this n their touring guitarist looked me dead in the eyes and shook his head NO. He wanted nothing to do with this slammer
True. They don’t even say “no” or “stop” but they wanna cry in TV acting like they’ve been traumatized. Slap in the face to people who’ve actually been victimized...
