Cannibal Corpse - Wikipedia: Fact or Fiction? 

In a band called Cannibal Corpse. Is a vegetarian.

Paul is the coolest dude of the band. He stayed after a show once in Toronto and just talked to a friend and I for hours before going onto the tour bus. We talked about so many cool things. Our musical influences, living situations, are we in school or not? He asked alot of really good questions, and answered so many of ours. When it was time to say goodbye. We, as gentlemen, stuck out our hands for a handshake... The dude wouldn't have any of that! Lifted his arms, and moved right in for a hug. He didn't want a handshake from his fans, he'd much rather of hugged us. I remember asking my friend "did we hug him? Or did he hug us?" Really down to earth dude. Cool fucking guy.

The reason cannibal corpse is the nicest band to ever exist is because they leave all their anger in their brutal music. \m/

Paul was a total dick when I tried to have him sign my cannibal corpse skate deck after a show. Rob was standing on the side drinking a beer by himself and saw what Paul did and said hey.... Let me see that deck and he took it from me and went in the tour bus with it and came out 5 minutes later and had the entire band sign the deck for me. Rob is a fuckin' legend. 🤙

Is it just me, or are death metal musicians some of the sweetest people out there. Chuck Schuldiner is another example of this.

I first heard "Butchered at Birth" at the age of 9 and have been a huge fan since then. I literally grew up with Cannibal Corpse. I love this band.

This dude is so humble, gentle and easy to carry with the conversation, no like the musicians of today full of ego.

Man, Paul seems like the nicest, most average Joe kinda guy ever! And I mean that in the best way possible, he seems like the kinda guy you could walk into at the grocery store and just ask about anything.

Paul's a true sweetheart. Interacted with him several times (we live very geographically close and I gave a relative some guitar lessons) and he's always the nicest, most unassuming guy. "Midwest polite" and he's not even from there.

I have heard George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher, Alex Webster, and Paul Mazurkiewicz speaking to different journalists / reporters about how Cannibal Corpse came together, Wikipedia: Fact or fiction, and other various subjects, and they are the most down to earth band on the planet. There are no egos from this band or "not now attitude, I am too important to be interviewed". There is no B.S. from this band, they just tell their story plain and simple. Hearing the musicians of Cannibal Corpse being interviewed has made me a bigger fan. I hope Cannibal Corpse is around for a long time!

Cannibal Corpse is like a Friday 13th, or Halloween, or Hellraiser movie...in music form. It is serious music played by serious players...but not all that serious in intent. Maybe like a gory comic book, you can respect the artwork, enjoy the story, dig the blood and guts...but it doesn't make one go out and kill people and eat them. Dark humor. Paul is a beast on drums too~

Paul seems like such a wholesome and likable guy, which is amazing, given how violent and graphic the band is.

Besides being a world class drummer, Paul speaks very well. The closing riff is killer! Where is the complete version of this instrumental? It's excellent!

I think Pat's the only one who really pays attention to the crowd since Corpsegrinder, Rob, and Alex are so busy head banging.

Paul is such a cool dude! So well spoken and personable. They all are. Such a sweetheart of a band of whom happen to be the top death metal band on the planet.

This section has only served to reinforce my argument that Wikipedia is *generally* right, with only the occasional minor (and sometimes anecdotal) discrepancies mixed in that could realistically be found in any other publication of its kind.
