Actually.. Zero transfered himself out of the body into a ''fake'' a copy body.. So.. in a way they are BOTH zero.. just one houses the zero we all know and love and the other is just X Zero.. the zero that sigma gets his ass beat by.. Orginally your sapposed to fight the one seen in this video here.. but they got lazy and just used the same sprite lol.. So Omega and Zero are the same zero..

thats not even close to what happened at all. Sigma and the Maverick virus were completely wiped out of existence after the Mother Elf was invented, which was well before Omega was created by Dr. Weil. they are not the same
