I not too sure how to feel. It’s definitely balanced, but I feel like it makes the game much more matchup heavy and not as based on outskilling your opponent
He didnt change it. All content creators just get to play things early and cr team probably said "alright pals here you have new card make videos about it post it this day and this hour".
This card actually looks insane. One thing I do really wish/would prefer that they did, is release this card along side at least 1 if not 2 or 3 other cards even. That way there are multiple options and combinations/play styles for people to use and try. But when you release just this 1 and the only other option is the default Princess tower card, then you create a vacuum in which everyone will be just using one combination. They can get away with it when it’s a regular deck card (i.e troops and buildings) to an extent, because there are a bunch of different cards and decks that people already play, so it doesn’t really make this vacuum in which everyone’s using this 1 thing with this 1 option. I agree with multiple cards release idea that it would be cool but from a 'creating a vacuum' perspective I don't agree. By releasing 1 people get used to that quickly. Just look at monk and phoenix, it took people 2-3 months to get used to them. Where usually it takes a month per card, so 3 releases at once it will take minimum 3 months for ppl to get used to all the combinations.
Its actualy pretty good to see that these tower troops has drawbacks (-400 health) in comparision to evolutions. But the tower itself is actualy terrible i dont think u want to use it

that is going to change the meta quite a lot, we rely on towers a lot in this game, i am super curious to see what will come when this tower card is released
Seems very interesting. The people who would get value out of it are people who lack burst damage in their decks. It’s balanced/ worse compared to princess tower imo
SC knows this card will sell itself since it's the first replacement for princess tower we had since launch. Once they release 1-2 more of these cards we will start seeing OP replacement aka P2W variants of Princess tower.
Buff first attack speed, so that it switches fast and is atleast okay not good against swarms. Like it should die to naked bats or gy. Coz they reduced HP, giving death by swarm is too much that should be balanced.
The range thing. I thought I saw that in Shane's video. The 2nd princess tower doesn't help the king after losing the 1st princess!!! They have to fix that
Personally, for me, I believe having a little bit of splash damage for the cannoneer would help this card out tremendously. I would tweak it in such a way that the splash damage will take roughly 2 hits with a 1 tile splash radius to kill nearby skeletons. This needs to be tweaked to have a balanced interaction with other cards though. I would tweak the tile splash radius, the splash damage, and the projectile damage accordingly. Not sure how overpowered this could be, but I feel like it could make the card viable when balanced right.
I don't think it's "balanced" because it's bad against any swarm units and most decks run some sort of 'swarm', so you probably need arrow+log because you won't need to use log or arrows against for e.g wall breakers. Or you save elixir against spirits. So by saving elixir you can prepare a bigger push, but you have to have troops to deal with swarm. This will 100% create new metas, and that will be swarm metas.

I think this would be great with superfast miner cycle decks as it would allow them to counter heavy tanks comfortably. And then you can just pressure very aggressively
Cannon should be 3-4x as strong and shoot at half the firerate, so theres actual reason to use it. If its 4 times stronger and 4 times slower then thats not much of a point
Cannoneer sounds kinda goated for splashyard... Lots of splashy defense troops + nados for swarm with a tower that's better against single targets The best part is that the deck counters itself haha
The new tower troop would be really nice if it gets a hit speed buff, as well as an HP buff. I think its HP should be the same as that of a princess tower, as it's better than the princess tower only in some situations, not always... Maybe just adding splash damage to it would make it quite a bit better than it is right now.
Either give the cannonner a small splash radius or make him shoot at the same speed of that of a cannon. That would make him usable. Otherwise the next season will be full of bait if people use him 😂
Ok on an unrelated note I upgraded my princess tower to level 15 but apparently your smaller tower can’t be a higher lever than your king tower, what kind of bs is this
Im speechless if i read the comments. This Thing deals almost the triple damage at a extremly small price of swarm weakness and the kiddys "i think its balanced🤓" Or "Buff it i think thats fair" 🥵
it would be so cool if we could choose to have two different towers, like princess on the left and cannoneer on the left... or maybe even a special king!
Having different tower troops on each side would probably just lead to people focusing on whatever tower their deck has a better matchup into, and also having towers with different health would be pretty bad
"4x damage and 4x slower" that math doesn't math🤔, means it has the same dps... watched a different vid, it only shoots 3x slower, and the damage is like 3.9x or so, it's dps is higher.
