30:10 YoungYakov, a man on the brink, micros his heart out. Meanwhile, the Dutch Starcraft content creator Harstem reminisces about the day his balls were crushed and the philosophy that lies therein.
It looks like the guy who won was named Jamai Loman, and this was the 2003 Idols season (the inaugural season), and Step Right Up was also released 2003. The Dutch guilder was replaced with the Euro in 2002, so it would have been euros Harstem was paying in.
I think the seesaw lesson is that taking a seesaw to the crown jewels makes you experience a different kind of pain. its not a masterclass or phd worthy, but its a lesson nonetheless.
Sometimes, it's the small lessons that make the lasting differences. So, what we really need to know is if Harstem straddled a seesaw to the groin again?
I took a knee to my groin from a friend in elementary school and he's one of my best friends to this day. The part about not crying is true, you're in too much pain and feeling too sick to cry.
Fun fact. Your testicles can twist up inside the sack, or ever go back into the body. Testicular torsion. Can cause serous problem including peeing blood.
@@epajarjestys9981 ya I was in 6th grade when a girl thought it would be funny to wind up and kick a boy in the nuts as hard as she could. He passed out, both testys destroyed. Would never be able to have kids or enjoy sex. He killed himself in his early 20s. She was suspended for a week.
@@andrewpeterson3302 That sucks. Children can be very stupid. Karma will get that bitch. May he have been reborn with balls of steel to be protected from such dangers in the future.
Oh completely. A lot of drug abuse lead to it, but. Not having balls probably lead to that. He was a wild dude though. 12 years old bringing pot to church camp lol
Lots of people write cursive in daily life, at least here in central Europe. The tradition might be dying out, but it's clearly still the norm for like...feels like 40-50% of 30-40-year-olds, I'd say, and I'm sure a ton of university students do it as well, though I haven't been paying attention to it. I'd argue even if it falls out of favour, it's a good thing you have to do it in elementary school, because it's the best way to make sure you know how to *read* it when someone else uses it.
should do cannon drops, put a probe in warp prisms and make cannons, batteries, and a pylon simultaneously in the prism's power field, in addition to whatever units you'll warp in
They weren't quite 25 euro, but they were often 20. we had stores in the US like Best Buy that just wanted to get you in the door so they'd sell CDs for $12 instead of the actual price of about $18 you'd pay at an actual record store though.
I see cannonrush for 1hr on my feed omg so excited, hehe your friend is funny as can't believe you fell for that, you know you actually learnt not to listen to your friend so you did learn something...
That's correct about the CD's and cost. Man, has it been that long.... We have a 10 year gap you and I, but even you remember those CD's.... Getting old here :)
The thing about music CDs is they should do it like K-pop does (not saying I like the music, but their concept is good) In K-pop you buy cds as "merch" they are often custom-covers signed by the artist/with a signature printed on at least. And they are limited collectibles. That way they still get cd sales out. The big issue with Music streaming like spotify is that artists often dont get much money from it. the Music industry is at an all time low iirc
Hearing Kevin talk about paying 25 euro for a CD when Linkin Park was still making CDs hurt my soul. F for Dutch music enjoyers of the late 90s/early 2000's
Idea for BGMWSS: Randomly placed stasis wards. Like you place them where the enemy would never suspect them. Close to the watchtowers, in your own mineral line for defense etc.
I don't understand why Harstem doesn't always build probe first at the start of each game? His APM is high enough to do it and still spread the probes to the minerals efficiently, no?
11:50 I actually still write all-connected, and I agree I hated it so much in school. I cant write in block letters now, and nobody. LITERALLY NOBODY. can read what I write, not even myself at times! It ruined my handwriting for life, and why? no idea. its ugly and useless
Harstem brother ! its time to prove you are really the cheesiest MAN ALIVE ! Pull of your cannon rush in competative : ) until then you are the cheesiest baby alive :D:P love you brother thx for your content!
Most singles were either $2.99-5.99. unless the artist has no other good songs usually the whole album is worth the extra $5-7. Since I usually bought cds on sale for $10-13 from fyi or fye whatever it was called and also borders book store had a music section with sales. The extra songs were if nothing else good for listening to while cleaning, driving, walking with the portable CD player. Usually some hidden gems in there. I used to hate cannon rushers, but now I enjoy the challenge and defeating them.
I have yet to come across a real sport where a player celebrates the opponent's "salt". There is more respect in fighting games, where the players thank each other after the fight is over, with blood on their face. Harstem singing he wishes the opponents to suffer is an absolute low. I am grosed out by the lack of common sense and fairplay. Even in war, you have to be a psychopath to enjoy your opponent's suffering. This is so embarassing
yea i dont quite get it , he is obviously really talented and what not but as a new viewer it seems confusing that he is constantly telling people they suck and whatnot. Comes off as a little arrogant despite having the knowledge to back up his statements. On the other hand i think it might just be a part of this gaming scene, what happened to the days of been glad you had a second player to play with.
Hey Harstem, 6:16 You do realize that you were complaining about how expensive the 3 disks you bought in your youth were; and today you are expending 120€/year for just the right to listen to music...right? Music that you don't own... How expensive were the CDs again?
Well, you don't really own the music in the CDs too, right? I'll concede though that streaming has played a huge part in the decline of the music industry. Most of the things you hear nowadays is generic stuff, you have probably heard before. There are some hidden gems though, every now and then. But, apart from the really big names, most artists tend to have a day job too
