Everyone in Jungle Fury was a martial artist who had an animal spirit that empowered them. Hell, the Zords were actually those spirits made manifest, and then the Megazord was piloted by the Rangers in a manner where it copied their unified movements. So a lot of the emphasis was on the martial arts.
The game is absolutely 100% worth it in my opinion, great if you like power rangers and it’s just a good ass fighting game with great rollback netcode.
10:31 - OK so that costume is Dai Shi's Phantom Beast King form, which he got when the Phantom Beast Generals gave him Rinzin Power. Also instead of a Lion, he's a Griffin in this form
I love how there’s always people like us in these comment sections who have encyclopedic knowledge of Power Rangers lore. You have to wonder what the fighting game fans think when they read this stuff. I hope it convinces someone to give the show a chance.
Not surprising as RJ twice has been able to equal Dai Shi in a fight and that was before RJ suited up as the Violet Jungle Fury Wolf Ranger, and one of those times is the fan-favorite time when RJ made Dai Shi retreat and replied to Dai Shi's cliché villain speech of how RJ may have won today but he'll take his vengeance tomorrow with the now legendary fan favorite quote "Tomorrow just means today is now yesterday."
I just wish we didn’t have to BUY all of the newer characters. I just got the game today, hyped up to play RJ’s wolf ranger and Laura Shiba’s samurai Red ranger but apparently...you’ve got to get the season 3 pass or each individually. Sucks. But the game is pretty fun. I’ve got some fun out of Lord Drakkon.
Richard Sinclair- I fucking love the game. I really just wish that fighting games didn’t do this. Who really wants to buy the game but have to pay more money to get the rest of the characters. It makes sense though. If they use the earnings from the game’s purchases, and they are doing the rip off thing, does that mean not enough people are buying the game? But it’s fucking awesome!!!!! Eric The Cleric Power Rangers 2017, while emo edgy, at least paid homage to the original series, while The Last Airbender‘s soul was very very lacking, and DB Evolution was spicy feces thrown into the very faces of the Dragon Ball franchise and Akira Toriyama himself.
As someone who's never been the biggest fan of Power Rangers, RJ has always been my favorite character and if I'm not mistaken he's a sort of obscure one? Which makes me even more grateful that he's been put into this game

RNG with SPD megazord you either get explosions or a heal. You dont have control over which one of the two you get you can just start it and it will just give one of the two.
I don’t think defender of hugs was giving out too many after that beat down. Did anyone else picture that person trying to rip every cord out before the final blow?
I'd never heard of this game before, or maybe when it was advertised (or when my recommended feed shows a vid) I think it is the 2d fighter from SNES days. Because I am an elderly man of 44. Anyway I may check it out, if only because the character with an overhead sword swipe that puts his opponent back into the corner is something I haven't seen before. It seems to hit 280 degrees behind, like Blanka lightning or Ken Shoryureppa but with juggle combo potential.
I love how much this game has grown over the last year. I’m not even a big Power Rangers fan and I kind of want to get the game. It looks very enjoyable 😊
How come my combos seem to blow out so early? It seems like I can’t get more then 3 or 4 hits before a random hard knockdown, do I have to juggle them in the air or somethin?
EVO Online missed out big time not adding this game to the main lineup, but then again, region-locking and licensing issues (Asia/JP Super Sentai) kept The Grid from being chosen
Noahthenerdiest Power Rangers is an American dub of Japan’s Super Sentai shows, so you can imagine the inhabitants in the Land of the Rising Sun aren’t too keen on promoting a product that was originally theirs to begin with.

I grew up with wild force , ninja storm and dino thunder , the former two i mainly have a nostalgia for because of two games on the ps1 that aren't even technically power rangers , they were unlocalized super sentai , i played the shit out of those
Well that depends what kind of style you’re looking for. I haven’t really played too many 2D fighters other than the ones you listed but if your interested in 3D fighters Tekken 7 is my personal favorite, downside is the netcode but other than that it’s pretty fun.
We deserve a triple A power rangers game. Like we done good ass in-depth combos and story. Like tmnt type with uncharted element as far as third person but being super powered. Everyone should have different martial arts fight styles along with weapons specific to that character.
Well, not quite. Jarod/Dai Shi was the villain of the show, but he was a closer rival to Casey, the Red Tiger Ranger. I really liked the dynamic of the two of them as they kinda mirrored each other's growth.
I didn't even know this game existed...I love fighting games but not sure if this is my cup. I like fast paced fighting games like street fighter, dbfighterz, and smash bros melee
