We were there the same day! We chickened out at the Rifle Chute 'cos it looked too unpredictable (as your swamping shows). :)

They put in stairs at the takeout? That makes it too easy! No more slipping and falling as you drag a boat up the muddy bank!! :)

I visited madawaska canoe camp 25-30 years ago. kayak camp hole surfing clinic loads of fun. Very beautiful.
