This is my go to setup for shooting pictures of my kids at home. Light, fast and sharp. It might no have the magic of a 1.4 L lens, but it is super reliable.

what camera body are you using I have the eos r and thinking of buying the rf 35 but I hear about the chromatic aberrations and don't want to go to ef l lens and the sigma for the price and having the adapter with it. is the cromatic really that bad or can it be stop down or fix in post

I own a Tamron 35mm 1.4 and although it's weather sealed and tack sharp, it's a little on the heavy side. Still trying to convince myself I don't need two 35mm primes in my bag, but everyone is raving about the RF 35mm 1.8 so I'm running out of excuses. :)

Hello. It was also very difficult to choose between Tamron/Sigma 1.4 vs Canon RF 1.8 Basically, all the beautiful shots that I can see on the Internet and on RU-vid were made with Sigma Art or Tamron. And RF shows very few beautiful shots. Which makes it seem like he's mediocre. Is it possible to take the same cinematic shots with a Canon lens as with Tamron/Sigma 1.4?

Found your channel. Great work. I wanna make the switch to the R6, I currently have the 90D but I’m torn about what to do about all the gear I’ve accumulated. Should I just sell it and use the money to get the R6. Any advice will be welcomed. Thanks again for the great content. I’ll definitely be watching this weekend see what other tips I can learn from this channel.

Hey!! I'm stoked you're here!! Its a tough call to decide to sell all your gear to make the switch. All I can say is that for me, I'm very happy I made the switch. It was certainly an expensive one but I looove my R6's!!

I just got the nifty 50 for my crop sensor t6. I love the aperture range, but it's so zoomed in, it's going to take a while to get used to it. Sometimes I can't back up enough.

the 50 def is quite zoomed especially on a cropped sensor. The same lens on a full frame will show quite differently

Love your content and am so happy I found your channel. I am a Nikon shooter (mirrorless) but I am so intrigued by Canon, especially the 28-70 lens. Would you recommend shooting both Nikon and Canon? I know you did for a while. I just am not sure I want to dump all of my Z lenses and my Z9 for Canon just yet.

I did shoot with both Nikon and Canon for a while and I never had any troubles with it and even now if I'm hiring a second shooter I'm perfectly happy with either gear for them If you're upgraded to the Nikon mirrorless, are you not happy with it? having throubles?
