Dude sick vid. Just wondering, do you shoot with a really high shutter speed to keep it smooth like 1/4000 or do you stick with the 2x your frame rate rule like 1/120?
GATDAMN! I actually HAVE this plugin... for no reason at all really. Bought it along with a gang of other plugins just in case I might need it for a film I was working on. If I'd seen THIS... then I would've definitely used it.
Cool video man!. Would you tell me the name of lights colors effect transition in the seconds 18-20? this effect you made it in After effects or Sony Vegas? Thank you!
The twixtored output is great! Didn't see warping. The red and blue liquids were water but how did you get the coloring to be so bright? What did you use?
What preview and render settings are you using in Sony Vegas? and what format? Looks great. and how would i get after effects and twixtor on to my computer?
Why do your frame blends so smooth? Cause Twixtor somehow doesnt do that to my vids. What frame rate should i be shooting at to make it look that smooth? urgent!!!
minimum 60fps if there is not much background else for a smooth 1% twixtor at least 100fps is recommended. check my channel for cannon 700d and go pro slowmo with fire
very good video. I want to know if the clip that you have used is at 1280x720 fps60. how many fast is the parameter of the shutter? thank you very much
i dont have a (60fps) in my 600d just 1920 x1080 25fps 1920 x 1080 24fps 1280 x 720 50fps how i get the 60fps ?????? and 1/4000 ????? dod ur killing me just HOW
sure you need more light but very important is the high shutter-speed. you need crisp frames that twixtor can create the frames inbetween. otherwise you have motion-blurred single frames.
Hello, I loved your video! and would like to know how to do Slow motion effect in After Effects and how I can do not to run out the video image? thank you very much!. :)
It took about an hour to render the fully completed project, and it took a few minutes to render each twixtored clip out of after effects. Also, depending on the clip, our speed was set for around 2. For faster clips like the water, we had to go with 1, and for slower shots like the trampoline, we could go with 3.
how can u get that light with 1/4000?my footage looks so dark at 1/4000 that i needed down to 1/120 and how can you get a 1080p footage if the limit on the camera is 720p? thanks
Can I just shoot at a higher frame rate and use any good editing program other than Twixtor? I have the Canon t5i. Can I get almost as good or decent slo-motion effects with any editing software?
Twixtor isn't an editing software, it just a plugin for Adobe After Effects or Sony Vegas. As for your slow motion, the easiest way is to just slow it down and the math. If you are shooting at 60fps, you can slow it down by half and still keep it smooth (60/2=30). However, if the frame rate dips below 24fps, your video will become less smooth. You can look into custom software like magic lantern to unlock higher frame rates.
Can you put on a tutorial on how you did it? Coz I shot my movements at 60Fps on 600Dwith 18-55mm and tried to slow it down, but I get a lot of motion blur. Like the hands and legs are completely invisible, kind of motion blur. I know the process of shooting, I wanna know the process of applying twixtor
***** They used Twixtor. It's a plug in for after effects and sony vegas which simulates a real slow motion effect. They probably filmed this video at 60 fps and let the program do its thing.
MARC ARNALDO Twixtor is just a plugin for editing programs like Adobe´s After Effects, that he might have used. EDIT: "Edited in Adobe After Effects CS6 and Sony Vegas Pro 10." from the description ;)
Ammar Zamerey Yes it is. If you plan using twixtor in post-production. When you shoot with high shutter speed you give twixtor sharper and easier frames to work with.
Hi guys :) I´ve got vegas pro 12 and I every time used twixtor pro to my videos but it isn´t smooth. After rednering is my video horrible!! I filmed with GoPro 3+ Black in 720@120fps. Why aren´t my slow motions smooth as yours? Thanks :)
To compensate, they probably had their 50mm lens aperture set to a low setting to let a lot of light in (probably set to 1.8) (the lower the f-stop number, the lighter your shot will be, but MORE depth of field). If it was still too dark, they could just bump up the ISO too.
It's good to have short shutter so there won't be motion blur. This gives twixtor better results. So 1/2000 isn't necessary always depending on what you shoot.
