Canon C 300 camera. I will ask you as a practitioner: I installed the Relocator from Zacuto on the shoulder grip There I installed the original grip unit on it. I connected it with a cable to the socket on the camera body. With the grip unit I can now only adjust the aperture, the record function is not active. How to fix it, what is set wrong? grip init on the body has both functions, but on the relocator only one what is ? do you know what's wrong?

I am interested in purchasing this package and would like to know what exactly comes with the package. I am curious if I need cables or if it comes with the proper cables. For example the lemo to d-tap cable to power the lens and other cables like sdi to the evf and even a dummy lp-e6 to d-tep to power the evf. Thank you!

Hi Caleb. Our Canon C300 Mark II EVF Recoil Rig includes our VCT Universal baseplate, the Zgrip Relocator (w/ right angle cable), and the C300 Mark II Helmet Kit, which replaces Canon's top handle. We also offer bundle savings where if you purchase a Gratical HD EVF and Axis Mini along with the rig, you'll save $350 on your total order! The Gratical HD EVF has HDMI/SDI ports and comes with a battery and charger, but you'll need to purchase the video cable separately. You can see more info and videos on this product here: store.zacuto.com/c300-mark-ii-evf-recoil/ Hope that helps! Let me know if you have any more questions. - Anand, Z-Team

What is the B4 ENG lens adapter to Canon EF mount ?
@markurban9113
@markurban9113 5 лет назад
Adapter that stretches the image from 2/3" to Super35, basically the opposite of Speed booster - one must be really desperate to use such a thing.

Not sure that people (meaning companies) who actually can afford something like this will buy it. Since these organizations buy gear based on long term contracts. If they need ENG cams they buy PWM-500(s), and they get a great deal since they buy dozens of them. Another problem is the reliability of a rig like this. Sony ENG cams are built like tanks and they know why. Because they take serious beating. Operators who use them, dont own them and they behave to them accordingly. Throwing camera to a car trunk together with tripod (don't expect either being inside a bag), that is just regular thing in big TV stations. Not sure how these guys would react with they suddenly needed to use such a delicate setup. Sure this is good for freelancers that are actually doing jobs that pays them enough so they can afford this. But customers won't pay you for your comfort, they pay for results. Guy with DSLR who knows what he is doing will work much harder, wont be always in focus but in the end delivers 80% of what guy weilding this beast. But he will do it be able to do it for fraction of the price. I wish you all more clients that can appreciate those missing 20% and are willing to pay of it 10x the price.

It's a cracking camera. Much lighter than a rig like this too!

Sorry but I was a news shooter for 40yrs and this set up is the farthest thing from an ENG rig that I've ever seen. News is run and gun. Get in, get the job done and make your time slot. There are so many outward moving parts and snag points and there is no camera cover that could possibly keep all those connections, cables, locking levers, etc. safe from inclement weather let alone give you access for adjustments. Don't get me wrong it's cool and all but touting it as a great set up for ENG? Nope.
