Canon E510 Pickup Roller Replacement

Some of the Canon printers are designed to load paper from the bottom, using the printers after a few years, the pickup roller rubber will be aging.
It will cause the roller can't pick up the paper, like in the video, and need to push the paper only can load.
The pickup roller is inexpensive, but the installation for Canon E510 is quite complex. Need to disassemble many parts to replace the parts.
If you are familiar with the printer, you can try it at home.

Wow! Almost dismantle the whole printer just to replace the feeding roller. Wonder any easier method with proper long tool to reach the feeding roller?

I'd drill 4 holes on the button beside the roller left and right, I was able to take the roller axle out . holes about 2cm each

who ever made this rubbish roller..and take the whole printer need to be dismantle just to replace the pickup roller..rubbish

7:23 is it just a single tube for waste ink pad or there is 2 because in the front there’s 2 tubes so in the back is it just 1 tube? because I need to fit an external waste ink tank.

WORST PRINTER EVER. NEEDS TO DISMANTLE ALMOST THE WHOLE PRINTER JUST TO REPLACE ROLLERS. THEY SHOULD'VE MADE AN EASY ACCESS ON THE BOTTOM PART INSTEAD.
