great video and love the comments at the end, the prediction that canon will abdonden the ef mount came true, but you're right, don't always need to look for anupgrade or the next thing that comes out

Instead of getting the 55-250mm EFS, get the native Canon EF-M 55-200mm lens. It's not much different but it's smaller and it doesn't need any adapter.

i love this camera...it is perfect for traveling light! and the image quality is excellent.

Youre pretty close to my setup, I got the 11-22, the 32 1.4 and the 55-250 IS STM. 3 small lenses that covers nearly everything you could ever wish for :)

For me after wanting the EVF forever and attaining one, I found my tired eyes preferred just using the screen on the back. Most of the time I am in some sort of tilt screen angle couldn't do with EVF IMO they might want to consider removing the viewfinder on the M50 and make it more compact than it already is? Before my M6 MII purchase I was using the Canon M3 which has same 24 mega pixels as the M50 paired with adapter / EFS 55-250 STM glass both obtaining very close results EXCELLENT! If you are only using camera for pictures refurbished M3 can be found on Amazon for about $250 bananas I have purchased two of them the first looked to be brand new the second thrashed and also returned without question.

Pretty sensible choice. With all the nice new gadgets being introduce there'll always be some great finds on the pre-owned market and the M6 Mk2 is no slouch

I managed to snag the camera (with kit lens), EVF, cage, MicroSD card, SD card reader, original battery and charger, and two after-market batteries (with charger), strap, manual, and original box for $719. pretty please with my purchase. Original owner only used it on one vacation.

Just picked up a used m6 mkii with 22mm. Cannot wait to use it….

The Sigma 16mm f/1.4 is an excellent landscape lens for this camera, it's probably my most used lens on it. The Laowa 65mm f/2.8 lens resolves incredibly also and does make an outstanding sharp slight telephoto landscape lens also. I've been a full frame shooter for years but have completely fallen in love with this lightweight and fun M6ii kit! It's unbelievably good with the right lenses.

The M6II has FV mode. I like the FV mode.

I have this camera, still love it, still hate how the screen when flipped up you can't touch the bottom buttons then when you try and move it it flips upside down again haha

I've got similar set up, I miss 11-22 mm and 18-150 mm only. I agree, it is a very nice economic system, I hope Canon will continue with M system.

Lovely review. Thanks. However I have an observation. You should not convert aperture using the crop factor of the camera. The EF-M 22mm F2.0 lens remains F2.0 itself and aperture conversion @ 2.0x1.6 shouldn't be done.

I had the EX4 Fujifilm, it seemed so unprofessional to me that I swapped it for the M6M2. I've always had a Canon full frame and wanted a small camera.

The only draw back I wish they would of let you get autofocus when you record in 1080p 120fp..besides that I used two of them for wedding videography n sports photos along with Canon xf400..great overall camera keep up the great work

Don’t we need an adapter for most the lens u mentioned?

I got only the Kit lens (15-45mm) and a Classic 50mm F1.8 STM attached through the EFM adaptor. And a small question Jacob if tilting the flash up and triggering do any harm for your flash or camera or the connecting thingy ? coz its a life saver in some situations to get a smooth light off the white ceiling 7:16

I have this Camera but not sure about the Canon 50mm f/1.8 STM lens I got for Christmas. It does not seem to fit 😕 the kit lens doesn't give me sharpness so I thought I needed a 50mm. So my family gave me one now it won't fit.
