How to Scan from a Canon TS3150 to Windows 10.
Connect to Wi-Fi : • Canon PIXMA TS3150 Wif...
1. Ensure the printer is on and connected to the Wi-Fi.
2. Open the printer lid
3. Put the item to be scanned on the glass plate.
4. Put the item flush in the corner with arrow
5. Close the printer lid
6. In Windows, click the start button and type "scan"
7. Choose the option "Windows Fax and Scan"
8. Click on "New Scan"
9. The scan box will open, ensure the TS3150 is selected
10. Change any settings you require, then press "Scan"
11. The scanned file will appear.
12. The scanned file will be saved in "Documents - Scanned Documents"
The instructions are similar for the following machines:
TS3120, TS3122, TS3130, TS3140, TS3151, TS3160, TS3170

Thank you so much; I was about ready to toss this printer/scanner/copier once and for all. I managed to (finally) get a scan accomplished! After decades of using PCs and Macs, with various peripherals, this new product has raised my blood pressure because until today, I succeeded in making one (1) scan previously.

Does the scan function work over wireless? Or only through USB?

Mine is connected w/ wifi and works okay now that I put a range extender onto the system. Before the extender, I usually could not get a page printed even without the machine stopping and ejecting a partial document. Before taking a big pipe wrench to this all-in-one, I placed a call to tech support and they verified that all of my online documentation showed it should be working perfectly. So I invested in an extender that cost almost twice as much as the printer/scanner but it let me work in my lower-level office. The router is upstairs. Just be warned that 'malfunctions' with wireless can occur--if you're a bit out of range.

Dobrý den, má m otázku. Nejsem uplne nejlepsi na skenování a budu to delat poprve, ale potrebuji se zeptat. Mám odeslat vypočítané příklady na papír a oskenovat je do formátu pdf. Když oskenuji ty papíry tak je budu mít v počítači teda jako formát pdf a mohu je odeslat?

I installed my mg3050 to be wireless BUT do i need to connect my mg3050 with a cable/cabel/kabel... to my laptop to be able to SCAN? because when i click on 'new scan' i get a pop-up saying 'no scanners are found. if i do have a scanner it has to be ON and attached to my computer' .... so...help me out asap :(
