Hi Parvinder, I have Canon Pixma MP280 printer. Orange and Green lights are flashing alternatively 8 times. I tried resetting as per your video but it did not work. For your information, recently I have properly cleaned ink absorber properly, fitted everything back. could you help as this 8 times flashing of lights was happening before and after cleaning of ink absorber. Even after doing these steps if the problem still shown the same alternate blinking problem what to do

In that case first remove the heads from printer, clean them with some spirit or alcohol and let it dry, then reset the printer. After that do deep cleaning via laptop software ( this will consume lot of ink) And then try, if still not working then your printer heads have hardware issue. Then call Cannon engineers for replacement.

Have you checked paper jam in printer, do proper cleaning and reset it, alao clean the injectors
