You actually made this setup look very easy . A technician on the phone was giving me instructions over the phone. But he didn’t say to press the color button. So tomorrow, since our printer is in our bedroom. Because we just moved in , and still unpacking. First thing tomorrow, I am using your directions. You made it look very easy . It took me two minutes watching your video and my printer Is all good to go . I was on the phone with technical support till about 2-3 am . And I couldn’t get it . Of course, because he gave me the wrong directions. Thank you for making this very simple 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😊
@@Itjungles I guess the short form is good if you’re searching something specific, (2mins for eg) but you are very adept and passionate and the longer form let’s you share more thoughts and insights etc too which adds value in certain situations (10mins for eg). Maybe a combination of both for the channel 🤷🏼♂️. Anyway, keep up the good work, helping heaps of people mate 👌🏼
Hello when i do it the Canon doesn’t show it shows another brand that I don’t remember i had before. How can i delete the one that I don’t have anymore so maybe in that case the Canon will show. Thank you
Turn printer on- make sure wifi device is in range- now stand on your head and simultaneously touch you nose with your left hand and grab your left foot with your right hand and pump your leg by bending the knee furiously for about 2 mins while holding the wifi button with your right, 2nd biggest toe- resight any Disney movie theme song pre 1996 for 2 minutes in an out-of-tune octave. - if your still having problems, try talking dirty to your printer in an abusive manner, but avoid all words containing the letter R, L or E, G and S (silent R’s and silent G’s are ok). - now turn your printer on its side and throw non-pitted kalamata olives into the paper feed and this should get it working. Hope this helps
@@brookewilson6775 yes i have for some odd reason you need to have both the black and color cartridges before it works, i personally think its a stupid system but it is what it is.

I just moved and simply unplugged the printer and reconnected to the new network at my new place of residence, but now the printer won’t work even though I could previously print from my laptop, iPad and iPhone and now it won’t work. The printer is showing the same buttons lit up like before I moved which are the blue WiFi button, the power and the plain paper buttons. Nothing is flashing. The router is brand new and working fine. Why is it that when I simply unplugged the printer in order to move, connected everything to the new network, now the printer isn’t working? I’m getting a yellow box with an exclamation point that doesn’t tell me the error and when I add a device in settings the printer is not detected. I even tried adding the printer using the IP address of the laptop. Nothing is working and all because I unplugged the printer, connected to a new network and now my printer is not found and I cannot reconnect it to my devices using the print app either. Nothing is working, HELP
@@Itjungles thank you for letting me know what to do but HOW do I reset the printer? Nothing is recognized by my devices so I need to know HOW I do what you’re saying to do…..resetting printer how? Please go a step further and tell me how to do what you’re saying. I would think I’m not the only one to come across this issue so you’d be helping others as well Thank you for your response. I ended up removing the printer from my laptop and I thought I could add a printer after removing it but still no printer is being found. It is super frustrating. I don’t have the CD or instructions anymore either.

This does NOT work! The printer will only work by a USB cable-it will NOT connect any more to wifi. Followed all steps. Conclusion-printer is rubbish and a complete fail for Wifi use! Terrible to have wifi fail on the printer after 6 months! And there is NOTHING wrong with network itself. This is the second Canon printer that has failed in less than 3 years. Worse is that if you do have problems, Canon are impossible to contact in any way. A complete waste of time and money. Cheapest solution was a USB cable-cheaper than wasting more on yet another printer. The next printer sure won't be any Canon if I do buy one!
i agree, i've tried so many videos but no luck...going to return this trash and get an hp.. oh and dont even mention the official guide, it worse than the printer itself.
