FLE P What do you mean? Is the lense affecting the autofocus? I'm needing one to be recording closeup and a good autofocus would be nice (could use manual if I had to). So is the autofocus a deal breaker?

TableTapped Gameplays Other lenes are quieter. Depending on the focal length and the type of length, the lenses cant focus before a certain point. for example, a 70-300mm lens cant focus on anything closer of like 1.5 ft i think, while the kit lens (18-55mm) cant focus when closer than .5 ft

thank you for putting (1300D) in the title because so many other youtubers dont. most youtubers so far have just called it the t6 and i go to look for the t6 and they dont sell them where i live because the camera is called a 1300d in my country. they are the same camera with different badges. i live in Australia by the way so if there are any other Australians reading this comment there you go. search 1300d instead of T6. (if anyone knows any difference between the T6 and the 1300D could you please reply).

Best buy has this camera for $499 but it comes with the 18-55mm lens and the 70-300mm as well as a carry case. Trying to decide wether I want to buy it. I currently own the Nikon D3000 with a seized up lens. The T6 looks nice.

Really professional video. I like that you mentioned the cannon app. I saw it didn't have a moveable LCD screen and I was let down. but at least now I know that I can have a live view through the app.

two choices: carefully use the internal Mic, which is no too bad. or use an external recorder. you can use your mobile phone to get good results..

The best way to record sound --even if your camera has a mic input -- is to record with an external audio recorder since it will give you a wider range of sound capturing. Then compile your video on top of your music and voilá. Also a good way to match up both sound and image is to use the camera's audio recorder, and will also serve you as a backup audio file in case your audio goes missing from the recorder. Hope that made some sense!

aceman42 STM is an autofocus motor. It should be quieter than USM, but it needs internal focusing.

Great review man, i´m in love with my gropro and had some experience using DSLR cameras on manual mode, i´m looking for an everyday camera and i´m between T6 and T6i. I also love F1 and i´m looking forward to the Mexican Grand Prix. Do you think getting this camera with a 55-135mm lens is enough to make good shots on the cars or should i go for the T6i? I didn;t want to get a new one but my T5 is a few years old and it seems like it is not focusing as well, pictures are not as good as when it was newer. I do a lot of videos of local groups and I am hoping buying the T6 does them as good as T5. I am a beginner so not sure if I would use external mic and is the internal mic as good as T5 I am so confused. With a sick hubby doing QVC easy pay is easier. they no longer have the T5. I notice my camera does not power on at times or the screen flickers. I take out battery and card put back in them is ok. Yes lots of questions LOL on QVC i can get for $449 including everything. ok do the batteried and lenses from T5 fit the T6 thanks much

Dear Mr. Tbones Tech I have a question, I have both the Canon T7i and the Canon T6 and when I like shooting on Raw + Jpeg, but when I look at the images on my Pc the T6 the default Raw and the Jpeg almost look the same, and if I look at the default Raw from T7i it looks a lot different and than the default jpeg of the T7i, do you know why is that?

akachi2010 dude honestly i think the only thing i found to be different from the t5 is the WiFi. if you can go for the d3300 or d3400 or if you want to stay with canon get the t5i
