Pope St. Pius X, Canonized according to the correct investigation of the Catholic Church, and whose body is incorrupt. The champion against Modernism, which is now the religion of the present Rome. Pope St. Pius X Pray for Us.
@@dukadarodear2176 Modernism is ever old ever new, in a sense, in that it always seems to develop, yet it is technically the same as during St. Pius X's Reign as it still is attacking tradition, yet many in the hierarchy attack tradition as well. God Bless you and May Saint Pius X pray for us!
Married Saints and Blesseds: Sts. Zachary and Elizabeth, Sts. Joachim and Anna, Sts. Aquila and Priscilla, Sts. Adrian and Natalie, St. Thomas More, St. Gianna Beretta Molla, St. Frances of Rome, St. Phillip Howard, St. Elizabeth of Hungary, Bl. Louis and Zelie Martin (parents of the Little Flower), and many more. Yes, those who enter religion can often dedicate more time and effort to expemplary deeds, but that does not mean the Church thinks marriage is any less a calling from God.
@Mike4Dogma not yet our dear brother in Christ, but since then our association had ceased participating in the vatican 2 heretic cult and false beliefs since May 20, 2012. God bless you!
Also, Church teaching does not hold that Papal Elections are ipso facto the decisions of the Holy Spirit. Rather, we believe the Spirit guides elections (which is why the Cardinals pray for guidance), and once elected, even if the Pope is unworthy, the Spirit still guides him and prevents him from preaching heresy.
I dunno. Something about the last two popes canonized seems to have cheapend the whole process. one guy was short a miracle, and the other guy was a real rush-job. (five years dead????) Not that St, Joseph Sarto would care--he's in heaven with the Lord.
Weejee4 They absolutely did not ask for three First Class miracles, nor did they do the devil's advocate, as they've done for centuries, to ensure the canonized is truly a Saint. It was a shame and a sham.
@eryk7878 the sins of Catholics do not reflect the teachings of Jesus as handed down by the Catholic religion. though Catholics are sinners due to our humanity, Catholicismas a whole does not have a stain of sin
Vatican Council II (1965) is a non-Catholic invalid council preaching at least a hundred different heresies including: Catholics should pray with protestants, muslims worship the one true God, Christ-rejecting jews are no longer cursed by God, the state is forbidden to shut down non-catholic sects etc. Vatican II was called by John XXIII, a manifest heretic who claimed to be the pope (1958-1963), and signed by Paul VI (1963-1978) who was also a mainfest heretic and thus had no authority
Catholic Evangelist Vatican II was a Robber Council. Also, did not use the Holy Ghost, because it was a Pastoral Council too. The Enemy hath done this. Our Lady of Fatima's Third Secret contained the word Apostasy. Pray the Rosary Daily, and pray for Truth.
A pope canonizing his predecessor? Can we spell "mutual admiration society"? When was the last time the church canonized an ordinary person? I mean, someone who was married, had children, worked for a living? Anyone who fits that category? Also, in the 1903 conclave, it was said that Cardinal Rampolla was elected, but that the Emperor of Austria, through his delegate, the Cardinal from Austria, vetoed the election. The Holy Spirit was wrong?
John Paul II beatified plenty of ordinary people who lived heroic lives. Louis Martin (1823-1894) and Marie Zelie Guerin Martin (1831-1877), parents of St Therese come to mind
Ciaran Ryan John Paul II did not canonize anyone since he was not a Roman Pontiff of the Catholic Church--only validly elected Catholics can be Roman Pontiffs of which Wotyla was certainly not.
