A look at the stunning Baryta Prestige from Canson Infinity. In this video I choose an image and explain why this is the paper to print it on. #photography #cansoninfinity #printing #landscapephotography #photography #print
Hi Chris, long time no speak, its good to see you in youtube again. I tried Canson papers last year and I couldn't agree more, they are excellent. I bought a few sample packs and got hooked straight away. when this crazy period is over and we are allowed in the pubs again, let me know next time you are in London and we'll meet for a pint (or two) again. Hi Chris: Would you care to comment about the presence of OBAs in the Baryta Prestige? Do you consider the paper to be museum grade and completely archival?
Hi. Yes, there is a very low oba content but canson classify this an an archival paper. You can check independent testing here....www.wilhelm-research.com/Canson/WIR_Canson_Fine_Art_and_Photo_Papers_Final_Report_2020-06-01.pdf. The prints are fast for over 200 years using Epson inks when placed under uv glass. I trust the canson infinity brand and I can concentrate on my photography and my printing with the peace of mind that the papers give me.
Hi Chris, a follow up question on the sturdiness; Do you think this 17" roll paper will handle making 17 x 24" cut sheets well without much curling? Sounds like it could based on your video comment that prints off the roll are pretty flat.
@@jeg569 yes. I don’t shoot portraits but have seen some wonderful high black pieces that this paper would be superb for.. or really portraiture in general .... imho.
