Not kidding.....this Osaka Jazz Channel is a revelation to me as a casual jazz listener. (This means I kanda lean a lot towards stuff that's easy listening, maybe). But...I certainly appreciate the incredible quality of the mix on every one of these I have watched. I have bluetooth hearing aids which provide fidelity rivaling expensive phones and these recordings are beautiful to watch as well as hear. Nothing else is quite in the same league with these people. It makes me want to get on a plane tonight and go there to visit this club.

Yuka : I caught that 3:2 poly-rhythm at 2:50 mark, and fast triplets off of it, while Takashi and Yuu play 'swing' eighths of original tempo - BRAVO !! Real nice !! I've been wondering if you have in your repertoire - ''Killer Joe'', and ''Moanin' '' ? - Some lengthy grooooooves ??
