Thanks you so much for this video. Pls, if the top bars of this cantilever beam were to have been designed in two layers, would the second layer also carry development length into the column?

Thanks for your comments onazi. yes, the second layer top bars also anchoraged in to column with development length, because in cantilever beams top layer bars are the main bars which carries the tension of the beam, keep watching

No way this will work. Rebar can not with hold the strength of concrete and that length. You will still require to beam at each end like a cantilever.
