Yes, yes - selling your soul to the eldritch abominations makes you untouchable - but seriously, Smasher can shrug off multiple passes of the blackwall protocol. Explains what Militech was trying to accomplish by giving Song that body.
@@tinycarrot718 In the "Betray So Mi" route we use insane ICE-breaker that Reed thought would be enough to neutralize Song, instead we only pissed her off and let the blackwall entities inside her take hold. Can only wonder what level of counter-measures full body conversion sports. And even with all that she was still bit by bit loosing herself. I imagine the blackwall gateway hack does something similar.
@@tinycarrot718 I think that more than giving her protection, the implants were giving back some functionallity. So-Mi was essentially frying herself by interacting with the Wall, and more and more pieces of her needed to either be replaced or needed stronger resistance. It would explain on why she was described as "slipping" not only in memories but in ways she interacted: her nerves and synapses were getting burned maybe? In short both her and Smasher have bodies that can survive the spike of heat/data. Others rarely are so fortunate. I think it could be considered equal to touching a loose wire.. only that this wire is linked to a goddamn nuclear reactor going full force to keep a continent size electric fence. Which in the case of So-Mi she had to jump multiple times while dealing with attacks from the other side. Bzzt-bzzt meatbags.
Yeah this is why I only use Erebus. I'll keep the blackwall tech out of my head as MUCH as possible 🤣 I mean I guess I love popping me some sandy and I'm max borged out as well. But the black wall as 'slider' tells us puts us at odds with the strange bets of the wild net.
Okay so all of their equipment is constantly scrolling BD right? So hear me out. By unleashing all blackwall hell on them you give peeps like Jimmy Kurosaki access to those feeds allowing the blackwall to slip into heads of people by the thousands watching xbds? Just a really freaky late night thought. 🤣
yup. the Blackwall eats AIs. the only reason why humanity hasnt bent the knee to AI Cthulhu is because technology literally isnt complex enough to support such an AI. it needs humans to create the tech it needs to become the cosmic horror entity its trying to be. but from the Jefferson Peralez quest, who knows if that day ever comes or is moments away. there's a world ending bomb underneath Night City, Militech sealed this universes' fate.
My first ever playthrough was with a netrunner build and it made the game extremely easy. No i decided to go first with the build i wanted to try the most - blades (Katanas + Mantis). Absolute annihilation. Almost non-stop Sandevistan and inhuman attack speed with the Byakko. The combos with the Mantis Blades are also like a autoaim hack. It's the closest you can get to a real vampire with the insane heal from all the bleeds and kills. Then went for another build with Monowire and Tech Weapons - looked cool, but not really the thing i expected. Tried also blunt weapon build with Berserk - good combos. Now i am on knives + stealth and poison... Actually kidna tricky this one. But if anything can surpass the gameplay with blades, it's gonna be netrunner build i am sure. Can't wait to actually start it over after i finish this playthrough.
Do you have any problem with quickhacks after 2.1? My iconic wewpon glitch doesnt work...their guns just sparkles but they still shooting Perk COPY-PASTE works weird. When i counter enemy netrunner with suicide other dont die. It damaging them but no kill them and blackwall gateway doesnt work at all. When i use it to counter it works like if i use it normal way...no spread at all enemies at once. I didnt have those problems before 2.1 so idk if its bug or they change it. It wasnt in patch notes. Its sad cuz netrunning is my favorite playstyle in this game
As far as I know in 2.1 sonic shock is bugged, i havent encountered any bugs in weapon glitch but i haven't been using it a lot lately, 2.1 also came with a bunch of nerfs to cyberware so that could be why your build is not as effective as before, blackwall gateway is partially bugged too, in general CDPR should take a look at hacking and fix some things
I mean, all the builds/trees are really well synergized. You could literally wander into it with knives, handguns, and your fists and be fine as long as you weren't a brainlet on building the character lol.
Everything related to the blackwall, Cerberus & the rouge AI threat is incredibly well done, makes me extremely excited for the sequel to expand on the lore and story
@@tinycarrot718 honestly i would prefer them taking enough time to not repeat the same mistake. Considering it took them 3 years to cut the bloat and bring the best out of this game, even if you disregard DLC, that's still like at least half a year of solid work CDPR were missing.
using a similar build for my phantom liberty playthrough, 20 int, 20 strength, 20 technical ability for the EMP on overclock, spam short circuit and use electrifying gorilla arms with quake superhero landing from reinforced tendons, plus EMP grenades and the shock and awe for random EMP bursts when taking damage, feel like emperor palpetine with all that electricity and aoe damage
I wish they made the finale way harder. It sucks going from the great fights like the stadium and orbital air in PL to Arasaka tower where there’s barely 30 enemies who all die in 2 shots at lvl 60
I honestly think most of these videos are made on Normal or Hard, sure you can do a lot of damage on Very Hard, but even on a Body Build you cannot take direct fire for long
@@tinycarrot718if you wanna do it better, use the bio monitor and blood pump, it’s basically automatic heals when you hurt yourself with overclock meaning you can kill even more enemies at once with the blackwall gateway
Any body build is busted. I tried the netrunner without it at first and had to rely on kills to keep sustain up. As soon as I made a brawler it was easy even to kill Max tac. You just can't die.
It got even easier in 2.0+ too. Don't even have to max out. Once you hit Body 15 or so with a Biomonitor, you're basically unkillable unless you start goofing around.
You really can't do anything just with RAM, Overclock lets you use your Health pool as RAM, that's why im constantly in Overclock and puffing the inhaler, so i can keep hacking
That's what I'm doing with weapon glitch, I rarely upload a blackwall on its own, can't speed up the rest of the spreads tho, and idk about you, but I find ping very intrusive, it highlights too many things on tier 5
should have invested in body rather than cool to max out the potential of black wall hack, thanks for the tip. another new playthrough because of this haha
Thanks. I play this gem in vr and because of the ui in the headset. Being a netrunner isn’t very fun lol So thanks for showing a sandi addict the power of a runner deck.
@@tinycarrot718 If you get motion sick easily then yeah. For combat and driving and all. But just walking around and staring at everything in 3d is breathtaking. Those skyscrapers feel even more suffocating. Crisp textures. As long as you have like a beast graphics card. Lol Plus you aim with your head so that takes a min to get used to.
@@tinycarrot718you need to have a good stomach or you'll get motion sick pretty easy. It's only for people who I would say are at least adept at VR motion. If you could play boneworks though, you could play cyberpunk vr. I've been having a fucking blast. It's glitchy and not perfect, but holy fuck if you can handle intense VR scenes, then VR is THE definitive way to experience cyberpunk for the first time. If you have a VR headset and a good PC, you might as well give it a try. Luke Ross's patreon is only $10 so imo it was entirely worth it. If getting the headset is a barrier for entry for you, then I recommend looking into something cheaper and probably used. I got a second hand quest 2 that's in decent condition for $140. Got some scuffs, but works perfectly fine. I only have a humble little 3060 gaming laptop, and I've been amazed that I could run cyberpunk vr at all. It's kinda blurry, and, like i said before, prone to glitches and hitches, but goddamnit it's so fucking immersive and I can't stop playing it. 500 hours now, and I still am not tired of cyberpunk!
No, that's not axolotl, that's just perks, that's why you see me run up to him to cast it, one of the perk reduces RAM cost the closer you are to the target etc
@@HeavyMetalDriver666 The one piece of cyberware you definitelly need is axolotl, you can get it in dogtown, the rest is honestly up to you, ill tell you what i focused on, cyberware that would either give me health, melee damage or RAM
You know, I was originally annoyed with how they changed the health items. But after watching this, I fully understand why they wouldn't want an overclocked netrunner with 2000 airhypos in their pocket.
And where is sick netrunerr sick fatality move? Perfom by plug smasher personal port to canto straight yourself - then let he ride his high way to hell...
I mever can finish a netrunner playthrough. It gets boring too quickly for me. Gorilla arms berserk build was a lot more fun for me. Currently working on a submachine fun build.
@tinycarrot718 I might try investing in body next time. I got angry in the fight with sasquatch because I hit her with cripple movement and she literally telported into me anyway. Having other options for bosses would be better, and thr increased durability would let it be more fun and aggressive like in your build. You gave me some new ideas, so I will revisit my build.
@@tinycarrot718Yeah when smashers bullets blasted him it went down quick. 700 hp is a shit ton. I was 20 body and I only had 540 cause of the legendary chrome perk
@@Divergent-ym3py in the smasher fight, the reason you see me run is cuz he was two tapping me with rockets, I am a glass canon tho, not a lot of armor, but yeah
