The template stuff is another level. If you can learn to pair this with the bulk upload feature then you'll be able to put together content at a crazy rate.
Imagine when these tools are powerful enough to create custom brand kits catered to your mode of delivery, and they’ll look like they were done by an agency that would charge a hundred grand.

I actually went the other way. I went from using Photoshop, along with the whole Adobe design suite, to primarily using Canva. Hooray for not being the status quo!
I think Adobe will loose to Canva...simply for one reason and one reason only...Canva doesn't cost and arm and a leg like Adobe. Adobe is way way way too expensive. So glad Canva exists. I really love CANVA. You can be creative without spending a fortune. And the "PRO" is worth every penny.
I already watched this on other channels but you are so darn funny to watch I HAD to check out your POV on this.. Thanks for the chuckles and also valuable info and input.. and YES the DAMN LIGHTBULB.. UGH.. Personally the addition to LAYERS has been a LONG awaited update..
@Lohan Lohan I've been thinking about this a lot and I'm very curious how it affects the viewing experience of my videos. People in real life have found my gaze to be powerful
I would say you do what's comfortable with you. Once again I didn't mean to hurt any feelings saying this. Just wanted to voice my opinion on how I feel watching your videos, my experience isn't a general point of view.
I've spent a ton of time trying to get to "Try Magic Design" and it doesn't seem like that option is possible. Am I missing something? How do you get to that page?
I personally find your video headlines a bit too much of... I don't wanna say it.. Click bait. There I said it. The content and presentation of your videos is always really nice (you even got rid of the wrong spellings in your texts in the videos). However what we actually see in the footage of the videos isn't reflecting what you state in your video titles. I can understand you need the clicks to get money and that's really only my personal opinion, but I think with the quality of your videos sprinkled with soft comedy it doesn't really need this kind of headlines.
@@mjt1517 Because it actually implies that Canva is doing something remarkably in another way that out plays all the other competitors. Which is obviously not the case. The video is about a first look of the alpha features on Canva that we've already seen in other apps like Google photo Editor, chat gpt and dalle. So a title like "Canva releases new AI Tools in alpha state for free" would be more fitting. Of course without having a shocked :O face expression which is also really common on click baiting titles (which is not the case here for the face). Be aware that this is my personal experience. Of course it is fine if you think the features showed to you are game changing for your personal experience.
The AI really sucks right now. Plus the problem with every single AI tool I've tried is that you cannot get the AI to draw single objects. If I'm trying to create a specific scene & I want to use AI to build the scene one character or object or landscape at a time. The AI is incapable of doing it. It also won't let me just change 1 or 2 specific things about an image. I can have it create an entirely new image or upscale it.
It is a game changer! (But not for those of us who don't have the money for an NVidia card with at least 4 GB Vid RAM. The NVidia OEM in my Dell laptop won't run it!)
I think canva fills the gap for quick and dirty social media content. Which is becoming more of a demand for all brands. Adobe social media solutions are not optimized so Canva closes the gap nicely. Also adobe express is no competition to canva.
And then there’s Serif and their Affinity products. I predict they will be DOA within a year since they are - once again - not even attempting to keep up with the competition
Sure, you are right. I should offer alternatives if I am criticising something, I'll keep it in mind in future. I would say some of these also come close to being overused. I would prefer: bridge, egg, flower, origami, iceberg, conductor, flock of birds in formation,
@@antonhasle3495 I'll have to bite the bullet. I'm having such fun with Midjourney that Adobe Firefly has me really interested in the potential of combining AI art with the fine editing tools Adobe offers.
I feel like this guy's microphone and the foam thingy's in the background are photoshopped in. Like why does your audio sound like you're recording under water
Another clickbait AI video ffs... "CHANGES EVERYTHIN!!" Its just another AI tool in alpha/beta fhat does what others do but slightly remixed. Doesnt even do it better than others
Mid-journey smashes Canva, yes Canva has a free version but it's no go for most things. I'm not being disrespectful, I'm just tell you the truth, your AI isn't that bad, so your subscribers will get there money's worth. This is just my opinion. Take care. Hawk out!!
15:07 "I am sick and tired of hearing people use the light bulb metaphor for an idea. It is a lazy and overused comparison that lacks any real creativity or originality. Ideas are not light bulbs that can be turned on and off at will. They are complex and nuanced, and they deserve to be described in a way that reflects their true nature. So I call upon all of you to join me in a war against the light bulb metaphor. Let us banish it from our vocabulary and embrace more imaginative and meaningful ways of expressing our ideas. Together, we can bring about a new era of intellectual discourse that is worthy of the power of the Force." -darth vader
I'm not really familiar with Canva. I know it by name, but never worked with it. I'm wondering when and how Affinity will react to recent developments of AI in graphic / web design programs.
Am I on the right track? I am admin for a 501(c3) charity. I need to create a RU-vid video to help promote a GiveSendGo project. I have a handful of video clips and photos. Can I upload and get something generation without too much drama? Kentek
Thanks for this feedback. I will look to buy a new one. I spent some time researching and this was blue yeti which seemed like a popular mid range option. But maybe it’s time to go to the next level
