Thanks for the time-saving update! Lots of new helpful updates from Canva (some of which should have been done a long time ago, but they're here now, so I won't complain!). Don't know what I'd do without Canva!
Thank you Jacqui! I went and clicked to do the Glow Up and I was number 468,301 that means a lot of people have signed up since you did at 4,000, LOL!!!
@jacquinaunton Hi, don't worry about it, I figured it out myself. It would be nice if canva would fix the creator button, though! I have to go through my public profile to access the creators page of canva, and then the button works!
Thanks Jacqui, exactly the info I needed to start playing with the updates. I’m excited for a lot of the features but the Facebook meta check will be really useful, in real estate we have to make sure to follow the fair housing guidelines and this will make it easier. The magic grab photo feature will be nice too, I thought the magic features were awesome but a little too broad so this will make it so much easier!
Super helpful! Thank you :) Question - can you easily drag/drop things you've designed into the Project folder like you used to be able to? I've been looking and trying to figure that out vs. going through one at a time with the 3-dots and moving to a folder. Trying to organize my Canva :)
Great insight into all the new features, thank you. Little question, how do you do the image of yourself speaking in the circle? Is it done within Canva? x
Hi Jacqui! Thank you for summarizing the Canva glow ups specific to designers. Question for you: For Bulk Create with Images, I'm having trouble figuring out how to add images to the spreadsheet so I can upload the data (upload the csv to canva). I was able to do it manually though. Can you speak to this?
Great question. So from what I can tell - you can't add images if you upload a CSV. Instead, you'll need to "enter manually" the data - I just tested though and you CAN copy and paste columns of data from your CSV into the Canva 'enter manually' section. THEN add a column for the images (as you see me do in the tutorial).
It's still there :) You can simply use the rectangle handles on a photo OR you can double click on a photo and all of the cropping options appear on the right hand side.
My favourite: pagebreaks in docs, especially handy if you want to export your doc as a PDF. As I'm working on such a document, I'm going to try it right away - thanks!
Do you have to have Canva pro to access the update? Assuming a million people haven’t already done it… Which im sure they have but I thought I’d ask anyways.
I believe it was for anyone :) But as you say - YES, the 1 million has been hit. I expect the new interface will roll out for everyone else soon. I thinkkkk the lots of the updates might still be available even if you haven't updated the actual interface. (fingers crossed!)
PLEASE help!!!! where did the eyedropper color grabber go. The AI chat bot says it's still in the color palette under the + add a color but I'm going crazy because I don't see it anywhere :( I LOVED this tool. I want it back. Any ideas?
Hi there, yes, I speak fast. It's been part of who I am my entire life. I've tried hundreds of times to slow down but really struggle. I'm aware there are many other people who present on the topics I do and I hope one of them is more to your taste 💜 Otherwise, you may prefer to slow down the playback of the video to x75 speed.
